The Charity's activities are carried on by individual Sisters acting within parish communities and the wider community. It runs and supports Catholic schools and care homes. The Trustees care for their own Sisters who are retiring from active work. The Charity also makes grants to beneficiaries and assists other charities with similar objects.

The advancement of education through training, to provide young people with the capacity to meet the challenges of everyday life with innovation and purpose by providing them with a network of resources, skills and best practice primarily in the ICT field.

GACD Action aims to promote health research globally to prevent and alleviate chronic (NCDs) and reduce health disparities amongst under-served communities particularly in low and middle income countries. Until 31/12/2024 GACD Action (Charity no. 1138223-22) was a linked charity to Medical Research Foundation (Charity No 1138223) which reported annually on our finances as restricted funds.

The Charity was incorporated to carry out projects that relieve poverty for the public benefit in Africa, advance education for the public benefit in United Kingdom and to preserve and protect good health of young and elderly people.

Action For Hydrocephalus works directly with neurosurgeons/healthcare professionals in developing countries or areas lacking in adequate treatment of hydrocephalus. We provide clinics and hospitals with neurosurgical equipment and work with surgeons and doctors, providing educational and practical support as well as training.

Happy Hearts UK is a grant making charity to raise funds for Happy Hearts (US) internationally and other international projects. The aims and objectives of Happy Hearts internationally are shared by Happy Hearts UK but the charity is independently administered and Happy Hearts (US) do not have voting rights on the board of Happy Hearts UK.

Worldwide Silver Lining exists to support the development of schools worldwide, with an emphasis upon Africa. The charity supports the work of other charitable organisations working in African countries. The charity currently makes grants to a charity school in Kenya and a Masai education and health project in Tanzania
