To maintain and upkeep a Quaker Burial Ground ( Twill Furlong) on Lower Lane Freckleton in the County of Lancashire.

The charity's activities are the raising of funds, as required, for specific objects connected with the restoration, renovation and maintenance of the Rossall School Chapel and for any upkeep of the organ of the Chapel and associated purposes, which, in 2007, included the purchase of new choir robes and Hymn Books.

Assisting patients and former patients of the Hospital and those in the Community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and supporting the work of the Hospital and those who care for such patients, former patients and other needy people in the Community.

Conservation

Supports the restoration of Hurst Grange Park Coach House (an important historical building currently disused) and conversion for use as a visitor centre and indoor space resource for use by the community. The group has obtained details and costs of work required to arrest the decay and make the building fit for the use described above and have concentrated on raising funds to support a HLF bid.

Donations are made for general charitable purposes with a focus on causes benefiting children, young people, the elderly and people with disabilities. Grants are made to individuals and other organisations.

The charity provides the County Borough of Burnley with a public park with sport and recreation facilities for the general public.

The provision of prizes for candidates sitting examinations of the Chartered Insurance Institute within the area administered by the British Insurance Brokers Association, Greater Manchester & West Pennine Region.Such prizes to be awarded to the candidates attaining the most meritorious record in completing the said examinations.
