Deserving residents of the Parish

Our aim is the rescue of cats and kittens abandoned, stray or feral. We work to rehabilitate and rehome cats who come into care and find suitable sites to relocate feral cats when not welcome and undertake neutering programmes to control populations. Wherever possible we also help to rehome pet cats who for whatever reason can no longer be kept by their owners.

Acquiring and shipping medical equipment to establish a Medical Centre operating to British standards, in Sakumono, near Accra, Ghana. Providing medical care to the people of Ghana in a Christian environment.

Manage a community green space & promote community spirit.The grass and the trees on the park are maintained for people and wildlife.Children play games and sports on the park, mostly these are informal helping socialisation.There are a series of social activities organised which local people attend.The informal play and the organised activities all help in building a community.

Leicester Disabled Action Group deliver information, advocacy, advice and guidance on behalf of the disabled people and their families in Leicester. We believe that without accessible and appropriate information, advice and advocacy services, disabled people and their families will suffer further social exclusion.

The charity is dedicated to providing 4-week respite breaks in Leicestershire for children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Our aim is to bring each child to the UK for 5 consecutive years in the belief that this brings cumulative health benefits and enables them to live fuller and healthier lives. Each child is placed with a volunteer host family during their stay in the UK.

To assist branch members in need of assistance

Dedicated to raising funds in the UK through a variety of activities, including charity galas and direct marketing to our donors to support impactful projects in Kenya and Uganda. Our initiatives focus on disabled persons, livelihood support, women's empowerment, and education support.

MAKES GRANTS TO VILLAGE ORGANISATIONS

Half the charity's income can be granted to St. Margaret's C.E. (A) Primary School, Stoke Golding for items not provided by the IMAT, LA or Diocese. The remainder is available to support former pupils of St. Margaret's, who reside in the parish of Stoke Golding and who are over 16 and proceeding to Further Education.

Encouraging and providing for the religious education of the children in the village of Hoby. Directly from the Trust and through the activities of the Parish Church.

To provide 4 coats annually to needy males of the Parish

Grow Together provides growing areas and activities for people who have need of such facilities. We relieve poverty by providing food grown in community growing spaces to the local foodbanks.We advance education for the public benefit in the subjects of horticulture, conservation of natural resources and improvement of the environment. For people in Leicester and Leicestershire.

The charity offers free educational and training events, and counselling and mentoring opportunities for young individuals to achieve its objectives. It has a pool of collaborators from academia and industry to provide educational and training opportunities in science and engineering. In particular, educational objectives are met through the organisation of free e-learning courses.

Support of poor and education in Long Clawson

We work in partnership with individuals or organisations who provide quality sporting activities for children and young people from age 5 - 16 mainly within Walsall. Past activities have included a two day golfing event for Looked after Children, 10 week Judo course and football course for girls.
