The chapel is Roman Catholic a semi public oratory mass is celebrated every Sunday and on Holy days. All services are open to the public the chapel is available for weddings, baptism and funerals. Collections are regularly for the benefit of other charities such as Cafod.

The Abingdon Passion Play was set up to provide the town of Abingdon on Thames and surrounding communities with dramatic representations of an aspect of the life of Christ. Planning and staging a Community Passion Play roughly once every 3 years, the charity carries out fund raising in the build up to the event in order to cover the costs associated with staging it.

Ownership and management of a park for public uses, especially both the education of all age groups concerning local heritage and conservation issues and passive recreation, including drama and art.

We raise money to support the educational needs of the children attending Clifton Hampden Primary School.

The relief of elderly people in need from Bloxham and nearly villages by the provision of a Day Centre, weekly on a thursday.

Any member of the public can join the choir and receive training in choral singing and reading music. At the end of each term the choir gives a concert open to the public. Donations made at the concerts are split between chosen charities and local churches. Members of the choir make a termly donation towards the costs of teaching and accompaniment.

School PTA, organising fund-raising and social activities for the St Michael's CE Primary School community. Money raised is for the benefit of children and staff at the school.

The Maharajah's Well Trust is responsible for the upkeep of the historic monument which is a well, a cottage and a cherry orchard. The well has an Indian style superstructure. Alongside it is a cottage which was originally the warden's. Beyond that is a cherry orchard which is a natural place where the public can enjoy walking or picnics and which contains a playground.

THE ONGOING MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FABRIC OF ST ANDREWS CHURCH, EAST HAGBOURNE. THE CHARITY IS INDEPENDENT OF THE PCC BUT WILL CONSIDER REQUEST FROM THE PCC WHICH ACCORD WITH THE TRUST'S CONSTITUTION.

We are part of the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation. Offering 6- to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, , leadership, initiative, planning, communication and cultural awareness .

Our Parents Association works with our school, parents/carers, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities. These help to strengthen the school community and help fund-raise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school.

The charity provides and maintains a meeting place for the community. It hires out the Hall for meetings including Parish Council, Guides and Brownies, Toddlers, Parish Council, Yoga, Table Tennis as well as fund raising activities.

Fernham Village Trust now runs Fernham Village Hall and holds a lease from the Church of England which retains the property freehold, The Trust lets the hall to individuals, clubs and societies, runs a number of fundraising events including an annual summer fete and fireworks display, and social events run solely for the benefit of Fernham residents.

We provide opportunities for adults to rehearse orchestral music under professional guidance.We give public performances and organise workshops, not only to our members but as outreach to other players locally. We provide a platform for young solo artists at an early stage in their professional careers to perform in public eg.concert involving four young singers from Birmingham Conservatoire.

To promote the use of Library & supporting Librarians by:-1. Develop co-operation between Library & Community.2. Facilitate communication between local people, Library & County.3. Encourage young people to use Library.4. Recruit & help organise volunteers for specific purposes.5. Fund raising & sponsorship .6. Helping to safeguard the future of Library & develop innovations.

Raising money for the school

Our fund raising activities include Witney Beer Festival, Witney Carnival and a door-to-door Christmas collection. Funds and time are donated to charities and worthy causes in Witney and the surrounding area.

Brackley Hogwatch carries out research into the decline of the hedgehog species, and investigates the reasons for decline in the Northamptonshire area. The charity actively raises awareness in the local community by encouraging the reporting of sick and underweight hedgehogs, and provide grants to further the research and improve survival rates, and provides education, advice and information.

Providing accommodation for elderly people in the local area at a low rent.

U3A's are democratic, self funded, self managed organisations which exist to provide a full range of activities for men and women, no longer in full time employment, at minimal cost. They draw upon the knowledge, experience and skill of their members who organise the groups. At the moment we have groups including Walking, Skittles, Table Tennis, Family History,Art, Nature, Book groups, Mah Jong.
