The overall aim of this project is to restore access to spawning areas, protect river habitat and improve water quality for migratory and resident fish in Carmarthenshire. This is encapsulated in the mission statement of The Carmarthenshire Rivers Trust: ÔÇ£To restore the rivers and wetlands of Carmarthenshire to their former gloryÔÇØ.

The aim of the charity is to advance the Evangelical Christian faith in Pembrokeshire and the surrounding area for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statement of faith, mainly, but not exclusively, by providing premises to be used for Christian worship, preaching and teaching, and for other suitable activities.

Nature Conservation

Croeso Abergwaun was set up to support Syrian refugee families to relocate to North Pembrokeshire. The group provides language (ESOL) sessions for the adults to enable them to become part of the community and find employment. It sources a property to rent and helps them set up a bank account so they can receive the benefits they are entitled to. Assistance is offered to settle children in school.

To relieve persons in the Hubberston area who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress and to advance any charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Hubberston area, provided that the charity will not undertake any activities which will or may relieve the statutory responsibility of any local authority.

To sensitively manage and continue to develop the community-owned woodland and carry out related conservation activities in the interests of education, health and well-being.By providing a haven of natural solace for youth and adults alike, for learning, for nature's reconnections and to empower those individuals participating, such that they take pride in their achievement and engagement.

PEMBROKESHIRE YFC SEEKS TO FULFILL THE POTENTIAL OF RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SOCIAL PROGRAMMES THAT DEVELOP THEIR PERSONAL SKILLS, ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND CONCERN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

Narberth Old School Trust (NOST) CIO, as a not for profit organisation, will save the Old Victorian School building, as an icon of the town and surrounding area. They will ensure it is restored it to it is former glory, safeguarded and maintained, for future generations to enjoy, as an essential part of the history of Narberth Town.
