The object of the Trust is the advancement of education in the UK of needy Armenian students from anywhere in the world including the furtherance of studies in music and the arts.

The Trust gives awards to young, very talented musicians who are embarking on a professional career and who are in need of financial help. Grants are given every two years following an audition in London and assistance can include supporting post-graduate study; help towards the cost of putting on a concert; providing travel expenses and entries fees for competitions, private lessons or a demo CD.

Soroptimist International Foundation is a global organisation collecting appeal donations from 5 member Federations and the public. The Foundation makes grants to providers that educate, empower and enable women and girls. Projects and programmes are funded in countries where need has been identified to improve the lives of women and girls.

The charity seeks to help those in need of convalescence, for whatever reason, who cannot afford the total cost of such convalescence. 1) Persons recovering from sickness, medical or surgical treatment. 2) Such persons who are in a weak state of health and require a change of air, or require respite care.

Provision of financial support to racehorse trainers and ex-racehorse trainers who have fallen on hard times due to circumstances beyond their control and are in need of financial support. May also provide funding for schemes to help relieve beneficiaries from various welfare problems which they would not otherwise be able to fund themselves.

Two's Company's principal aim is to re-discover and bring back to life plays of high quality which have been forgotten, and give these plays as wide an audience as possible. Education activities supporting the productions are also offered.

Using its specially designed shoeboxes the charity provides an all year round service for people in Britain and Ireland wishing to make gifts to people in Eastern Europe. The people who receive the shoeboxes are chosen by the charity solely on humanitarian grounds.

The aims of the BOS are: to promote and increase public knowledge and awareness of origami, to encourage the practice of origami in education and as therapy for the mentally and physically disabled and to create, maintain and preserve an origami archive. NAWE's mission is to advocate for Creative Writing: enhancing knowledge and understanding of the subject, supporting writers and good practice in teaching and facilitation in all settings.

From family days out to longer respite breaks in the UK and abroad, we give families living with cancer something to look forward to. Our respite programmes give families the chance to spend quality time together whilst providing valuable memories.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain the education of the public in the arts, and in particular (and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) the arts of choral and other music by the organisation and/or presentation of concerts, workshops, and recitals of high educational and artistic merit, and by other such means as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

UKRO is dedicated to advancing professional rescue focusing on five rescue areas including vehicle extrication; trauma management; rope rescue; urban search and rescue (USAR) and water rescue. Our aim is to develop, enhance and promote the rescue capabilities of firefighters to ultimately reduce unintentional injuries and deaths that can result from these types of incidents in the UK and abroad.

The Carriage Foundation aims to promote, care for, preserve and interpret horse drawn carriages as an integral part of the history of transport. We are currently managing the 'Carriages of Britain' project, an online database of publicly accessible carriages and have long term plans to explore the possibility of founding a National Carriage Museum.

General charitable purposes.

The charity's object and its principal activities continue to be that of breed society functions in recording pedigrees of Hampshire Down sheep and to promote the science and practice of agriculture by the encouragement of the breeding of Hampshire Down Sheep at home and abroad. The charity also undertakes research in the subject of sheep breeding, wool production and matters relating thereto.

We actively warn owners against offering their Border Collies for free on Preloved/Gumtree/Freead websites, and educate about the dangers of these dogs being used as bait in dog fighting communities. Moreover, we organise support for owners and suggest additional options such as the use of our fostering / adoption programme. We are located in the UK and cover England, Scotland and Wales.

The objectives of the foundation are to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time.

The Royal Life Saving Society is the Commonwealth's largest drowning prevention and water safety awareness organisation carrying out it's activities via education, lifesaving, lifeguard,first aid and resuscitation training.
