The holding of events and conferences covering the scientific areas of bioderioration, biodegration and industrial microbiology for educational purposes. We make occasional grants to students studying in these areas or provide financial support for them to attend events.

To relieve the suffering of dogs of any age or breed in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain a rescue and rehoming service for the reception, care and treatment of such animals in England, Wales and Cyprus who by reason of abandonment, neglect or mistreatment are in need of such care and attention.

General charitable purposes

A network of independent EMDR therapists offer pro-bono therapy to those affected by any of the above, we also support other activities relating to mass trauma or the development of research and trauma treatment pathways.

Constitutionally bound to supply a fully trained, fully equipped, self contained rescue team to anywhere in the world, (UK and abroad), following any type of disaster and to provide that help free of charge.

RIST is UK based charity whose aim is to make an impact in peoples life through education and welfare. We are on a mission to spread the knowledge of Islam through courses, publications and workshops. Young people, adults and families are encouraged to explore and develop skills in a area of interest, learn Quran with understanding, implement the authentic teachings of Islam in their life.

A national telephone helpline offering much needed support, advice and reassurance to parents and carers experiencing the stress, worry and exhaustion of coping with crying and sleepless baby.

To sponsor a research-based project chosen competitively and it may be in any area of farm animal feeding including animal nutrition and management, feed production and marketing.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of individuals experiencing hair loss through cancer treatment, in particular but not exclusively working within hospitals and charitable organisations throughout the UK, to provide support and practical advise on scalp care, how to wear scarves, hats and other head wear. HeadWrappers also offer the same service online.

Relieving poverty by enabling poor children and youngsters to have education, vocational training, care and medical help.

Dignity and Worth works to raise awareness around and promote understanding about issues relating to LGBT inclusion among Christians in Britain, especially Methodists and to promote equality and diversity in Methodist Churches.

We rescue & re-home Great Danes across the UK utilising out network of experienced home-checked & approved foster homes We are not a kennels or sanctuary each Great Dane is assessed for behavioural issues health issues & is vet checked inoculated neutered and spayed where suitable we provide constant support throughout the life of the Dane encouraging positive reward based training

Misc charitable donations

Meetings, talks, readings, exhibitions, outings, publications to advance the education of the public in all matters relating to the writings of poet and novelist Francis Brett Young. Appropriate money-raising activities to finance this.

Providing advice and information on the causes and effects of war and violence and their peaceful resolution; and conducting research into these and into the history of peacemaking and publishing the results of such research, and the funding thereof. Pret is also sponsoring a conscientious objection resource centre.
