The Society exists to give recognition to people who perform acts of bravery in the United Kingdom in rescuing others from the life-threatening effects of fires. In 2021 the Society Trustees met twice and awarded a total of 66 bravery certificates to nominated persons.

The BES promotes the study of inscriptions, texts, and historical documents in Greek, Latin, and other languages in the British Isles. We hold seminar meetings twice yearly on epigraphic themes, and regularly organise workshops on the practical study of inscriptions. The Prince's Regeneration Trust is a charity that works with communities throughout the United Kingdom. We aim to ensure that important buildings at risk of demolition or decay are preserved, regenerated and re-used. We focus mainly on socially and economically deprived areas; places that will benefit most from the regeneration of the wider community.

Ogmore Valley Silver Band operate as a Brass Band, based in Ogmore Vale, Bridgend. The Band rehearses twice weekly on Wednesday and Sunday evenings and operate an open door policy, giving members of the public the opportunity to learn how to read music and how to play a brass instrument. We perform at a number of local events & competitions throughout the year, both paid and unpaid.

COTAC's activities are focused on advancing conservation education and training. COTAC uses an integrated lay, craft, specialist and professional approach to achieve its aims. The Council's related website, understandingconservation.org continues to be freely available as a COTAC on-line personal learning resource and a conference takes place most years.

Agora provides a platform for people who are knowledgeable and passionate about international affairs. Our aim is to create and grow a community that combines the intellectual rigour of academia with the professional standards of a think tank. We support our members in developing ideas and empower them to influence foreign policy outside of the conventional channels.

The charity's work involves teaching the public how song, and music as a whole, can either enhance or undermine the well-being both of individuals and the wider community. Music and song can be used in any situation, regardless of the person's state of health. Activities are largely based on Giving Voice (GV), an educational and self-directed tool developed by the NFGV's founder Jill Rakusen.
