The Shipwrights Company Charitable fund is constituted under the Deeds of Trust of 30 April 1948 and 22 December 1970, and is a registered charity, number 262043. Under the terms of reference laid down by the Court in 2002 donations are directed towards Maritime Projects, the City of London and "Ministering Authorities", with an emphasis on support for young people.

The objectives of the Persimmon Charitable Foundation are for the public benefit to further such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit from time to time, in particular (but not limited to) making grants to charities or organisations furthering charitable purposes that promote urban regeneration in areas of economic and social deprivation.

The aim of the Charity is to support music education for young people in all its forms. Funds are distributed for: Bursaries for music students Individual grants are awarded to: i) funding schools music education eg purchase of instruments/equipment or projects ii) funding musical instruments for students in full time education iii) funding training for music teachers

The Fashion & Textile Children's Trust offers grants to families working in the UK fashion or textile industry. Our grants cover the cost of essential items including school uniform, bedding and specialist items including mobility equipment. We also provide funding towards the cost of educational support, therapies and counselling, where no state funding is available.

The British Association for Music Therapy promotes the profession and practice of music therapy, an intervention which helps people whose lives are affected by illness, disability or emotional distress. With a professional and lay membership, BAMT supports training, education, research and the development of music therapy services across the UK. Publishes the British Journal of Music Therapy.

1) To promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and the effective use of charitable resources for the benefit of the public by providing charities, non-profit or community organisations with access to property in otherwise vacant units on a non-commercial basis; and2) To develop a robust community sector, supporting social enterprise and delivering public benefit.

Established for the purpose of advancing the education of the public about the South African liberation pre-1994 and raising awareness of the role of international societies (particularly British and exiled South Africans) in solidarity with this cause; and the advancement of arts, culture and heritage relating to the liberation struggle in the UK.

The Association's objectives are to advance education of paediatric surgery through research, publishing useful results in the public domain, and fostering professional relations with surgeons overseas. We hold scientific meetings and fund several Research Fellows, as well as hosting sub-speciality discussion groups, and our surgeons run overseas skills courses in LMICs as well as in the UK.

The trustees are keen to support smaller innovative projects focusing on improving quality of life for people with dementia and their carers which might not attract funding from major research councils or larger charities.
