The charity is for the upkeep of the Spence family graves in Elvington churchyard and in Somerset.

An ancient village charity which receives the income from investments and distributes this at Christmas to residents aged 70 or over.

The charity is striving to improve road safety in Rooksbridge. The village is bisected by the main A38 trunk road and the aim is to eliminate or reduce the hazards that exist for both pedestrians and motorists. We are currently paying for additional cutting of the verges along the A38. Two vehicle activated speed signs have been supplied by the charity and are now operating.

BBYT exists to serve the local community by providing a relevant Christian witness to the children and young people living in the villages of Butcombe and Blagdon and other surrounding villages. This will be achieved through the provision of specialist youth workers and by encouraging Churches and individuals to be involved in this ecumenical ministry.

ASSEMBLIES, COMMUNITY SUPPORT ON A LOCAL ESTATE, DROP IN CENTRE PENDING (at FYDDLERS END), WORKING WITH FAMILIES PENDING (at FYDDLERS END), PUPPET OUTREACH, CHURCH OUTREACH, YOUTH ALPHA (none planned at the moment) AS A CHARITY WE ARE OFFERING OUR RESOURCES TO PEOPLE WORKING WITH YOUNGSTERS AND YOUTH AND FAMILIES

To promote community participation in heathy recreation, in particular to raise funds to provide two Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs) for the playing of tennis, netball, basketball and football and such other facilities as the Trustees deem appropriate on the site of the underused tennis courts in Crosses Penn, and to promote free access to sport for the residents of Burnham and Highbridge

To provide the children of Exford School materials or other items of educational and recreational value. The extension or enhancement of school buildings and the outside environment for the benefit of the children.

In December 2020 we gave £52 to St Mary's Church towards children's work and general upkeep of the church.

Woodland management for public use in the vicinity of Sparkford and Queen Camel

To support the development of Credit Unions in Somerset,Devon& Cornwall including the training and support of their volunteers and the provision of small grants to Credit Union applicants to help them recover to a financially sustainable position.

Relief of Poverty to Children/Young people,Elderly/Old People

GRANTS TO CHILDREN IN NEED WHO ARE IN FAMILIES OF TWO OR MORE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 AND LIVE IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES OF HOLY TRINITY, ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS, ST JAMES AND THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST, ALL IN YEOVIL.

A Bursary fund for children attending a Somerset Outdoor and Residential Learning Service (SORLS) holiday and enrichment Courses. APPLICATION FORMS FOR A GRANT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM KILVE COURT OFFICE (01278 741270). GRANTS MAY BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS DEPENDING ON INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES FOR KILVE COURT COURSES ONLY.
