Charitable purposes of St Hilda's PCC - note that charity is currently not active and the trustee is considering the appropriate use of funds in accordance with the trust's objects going forward

The Charity makes grants to organisations that operate in South Tyneside and can subscribe to the Church of England Evangelical Basis of Faith, for the purpose of promoting the Christian faith.

We are working in Partnership with Iraqi universities and UK universities to provide knowledge and expertise to change outcomes for children in Iraq. We are focusing on education, social emotional well being, disabilities and trauma.

To provide an umbrella organisation for community organisations in South Tyneside, providing advice and guidance. Including organizing information and fundraising seminars to help community organisations to be sustainable.

Charity provides grants to individuals - currently dormant not active

A full year of social initiatives in partnership with North East churches as part of the national "Hope 08" initiative. The Just 10 series, based on the Ten Commandments, with Canon J John of the Philo Trust took place in Gateshead and Stockton on Tees with more than 88,000 people attending over 10 weeks.

The charity seeks to provide for the advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit by supporting Christian charities that are registered with the Charity Commission for England, charities reaching out to international students studying in Tyne and Wear and charities reaching out to school aged children through school clubs, assemblies and holiday clubs.

Provide support for people living with MND and their family's. Provide support for people after they have lost someone to MND. - Support, financial. equipment, a meeting place and therapies

The charity has been set up in preparation for a transfer of assets of a community centre and land from Newcastle City Council as part of their divestment policy. The Charity is currently dormant awaiting Council decisions on the terms of that transfer.The Community Centre is currently managed by our charity Westerhope and District Community Association registered charity number 1044378.

To advance the education of pupils and other users of Oakfield College by providing or assisting in the provision of educational and community facilities and services.

Medical Education Centre at South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust - deals with undergraduate and postgraduate training and continuing professional development.

The Trust facilitates the advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit. It provides and maintains gospel halls where religious meetings are held including the carrying on of the service of God, and it facilitates the distribution of Christian literature and engagement with the wider community and other charitable organisations.

The objects of NHSN CIO are the encouragement by every means of the study of natural history in all its branches and the conservation of the natural environment in north east England including its geology, flora and fauna

The South Shields Battalion,The Boys Brigade, has 5 companies within the local authority area of South Tyneside.providing a range of physical, band,camping marching,sports,competitions and Christian teaching activities to the members according to their age,etc. Anchor Boys 5-8yrs, Juniors 8-11 yrs company 12yrs-15yrs & Seniors 16-18 yrs.

The provision of Almshouse accommodation in the Gateshead area

Provide a therapeutic working environment for adults with special needs who use the Day Centre or visit the farm for activities with their carers.Educational activities on horticulture and livestock production.Engaging with schools, college and children through courses and activities.Provide opportunities for volunteers, young people and those seeking employment, to participate in farm activities.
