The charity provides accomodation to lone women in need, who are resident in the area covered by Lichfield Distict Council with preference to those resident in the City of Lichfield. The trustees can, in exceptional circumstances, give the accomodation to those outside the area covered by the Lichfield District Counicil area but who are otherwise qualified.

Provide village hall for use of residents of Bradley parish at subsidised rates for leisure and educational purposes. Gives grants to organisations in Bradley and some individual educational grants. All grants strictly limited to residents of Bradley parish.

Promoting community participation in healthy recreation benefiting the inhabitants of Wombourne by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket, tennis, bowling and other sports at an amateur level. Incorporating the provision of coaching and development opportunities across all ages, social standing and ability and promoting physical health and fitness for all.

Rural Policing Liaison Group are involved with a number of activities throughout the year, We have purchased Mobile cameras to monitor wildlife crime. Also we are in the throws of setting up our fourteenth annual awards evening where we award a Police Officer, Three members of the public, A young person, and a farmer, for their work in wildlife and conservation.

1. Reducing landfill locally by providing a site for people to deposit their recyclable household waste.2. Through sale of donated items and realisation of benefits, the provision of financial grants to local charities and voluntary organisations - e.g. - Stafford Free IT providing computers to disadvantaged families, Women's Aid Stafford, House of Bread and others

General support to children and young people suffering with cancer who have been treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital and their families.This support principally takes the form of information, refreshments in clinic, trips, outings and holidays, the latter being primarily at the Society's holiday caravan sited in Exmouth.These activities are supported by general fundraising.

Support the work of the church

The Town Council administers the Charity Fund for the benefit of the residents of the urban area.Non on-going fund raising activities.

Stafford PAIRs is a multi-agency Forum that aims to create a zero tolerence attitude to domestic and sexual violence and abuse amongst agencies and the wider communities of Stafford Borough, equipping agencies to provide appropiate responses to all victims.

Chase PAIRs is the Inter Personal Violence & Abuse Forum for the Cannock Chase District. The Forum aims to tackle the issues surrounding Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence by: Raising awareness of Domestic Abuse within the community, Informing victims & their children of the services available, Challenging acceptability of domestic abuse in society, Promoting inter-agency co-operation & partnership.

supplying radio communications assistance to a range of public events and to the emergency services as required on a voluntary basis and training in these roles.

The Friends provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at Thomas Russell Junior School (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority). The Friends do this, by engaging in activities which support the school and advance the educcation of the pupils attending it.

Makes grants to individuals.

The BCFA Charitable Fund supports the football 'family' in times of need. We offer grants to help those connected with the game eg. participants, volunteers, match officials and administrators and sometimes their dependents who suffer financial loss or adversity as a result of injury, illness or economic hardship - all of whom serve the game in all its formats within the Birmingham CFA boundary.
