Ipswich Basketball Foundation has a vision to create an abundance of opportunities for children and young people, both boys and girls, to engage and participate in basketball in their local area. Such opportunities are often limited by lack of facilities, economic hardship or lack of knowledge about the enjoyment basketball can bring to young people.

To have small wildlife sanctuaries which are close enough to enable beetles, bumble bees, and other invertebrates, birds, reptiles and small animals to use them as stepping stones between areas of protected natural habitat so as to preserve genetic diversity.

Financial assistance to young people entering a trade or further education

We aim to offer support to children who are or have been treated for cancer at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, principally, but not only ward C2. This support extends to their whole family.and can take a number of forms, including: someone to talk to who may of had similar experiences; financial help through a fund administered on our behalf by the ward;funded outings, ward events.

Providing training to the the general public by way of commerce, local authority, voluntary and charitable groups in awareness of those with hearing difficulties within the counties of East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & Essex).

Financing, Building, and then subsequently supervising and maintaining a womens' mikvah under the halachic authority of the London Beth Din for Cambridgeshire and the wider East Anglia region, which is to be built within 5 miles of the City of Cambridge.

The Relief In Need Charity normally gives assistance via responsive grants. These grants often help with costs incurred with some third party.

We give in grant form

In this small village any disbursement is confined to residents and limited by the bank balance and the value of the COIF Shares. It is hoped by the three trustees that any help would be of value, both practically and as a comfort.

The main activities are to a) support the school events by providing volunteer helpers, e.g. in providing refreshments at school eventsb) organise events to raise money in order to provide additional equipment, e.g. camping equipment for Duke of Edinburgh activities, kits for school sports teams

Activities, including films and quizzes to engage members of the community in a rural setting and raise funds to repair/improve the building and grounds for community use. Trustees have regard to the guidance issued by the charity commission on public benefit.

Relief in Need

St Peter's Church is in a very small hamlet some 5 miles outside Bungay - with a population of fewer than 30 people. The income is spent towards the cleaning of the church - sometimes towards flowers for someone who is ill. The income is very small and probably will pay for one hours cleaning or a bunch of flowers from a supermarket.

Management of Playingfields in the Parish of Mendlesham, subsequently managed by Mendlesham Parish Council since 2009/10.
