The East Bergholt Society is the local amenity society for the village. Education

Provides grants of money "to promote the education in accordance with the principles and doctrines of The Church of England of persons resident in the Ecclesiastical parish of All Saints Stradbroke and neighbourhood". Requests of an educational purpose could range from books and computers to travel and course fees, will be considered.

AS THE HUB OF THE VILLAGE, THE COMMUNITY CENTRE PROVIDES A PLACE FOR VARIOUS CLUB ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED, BENEFITING AN AGE RANGE FROM THE VERY YOUNG TO SENIOR CITIZENS. THE COMMUNITY CENTRE HAS ALSO BEEN DELEGATED AS A " PLACE OF SAFETY" IN THE EVENT OF FLOODS OR OTHER EMERGENCIES

To meet it's Objectives the Charity is currently engaged in fundraising activities with a view to raising sufficient funds to provide Skateboarding, BMX biking, Scooter riding and Roller skating facilities in the village of Thurston in Suffolk.

The charity is established with the object of furthering the religious educational and other charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby Great Yarmouth in the county of Norfolk
