THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THEM AND FOR THEIR FAMILIES, DEPENDANTS AND CARERS.

We are a guide company working in a small village with young girls aged between 10 and 15 years of age. We work through the guide syllabus on various challenges to gain badges. We try to get involved in our local community, provide enjoyment and fun and help them make friends for life.

The Charity provides a residence for aged and poor people in the parish of Stonham Aspal.

Providing social activities for adults with learning difficulties.

To raise money for the upkeep of the Village Hall and its equipment for the use of the local community. Fund raising and the hire of the hall.

General fundraising for activities for school children

Fundraising. Sponsoring the supply of equipment for use in physiotherapy, midwifery and care in the community.Funding projects in restructured hospital.

Use funds to provide help to the church , community, and educational activities, and also where possible to directly help the less well off residents of the village of Worlingworth

Helping teenagers undergoing treatment for cancer to have fun. Provision of laptop computers for study and social networking whilst in hospital. Helping NHS Trusts to furnish their teenage and young people projects with electrical equipment, furniture, computer games and media equipment. Helping individuals to enjoy trips to London shows, river cruises and silverstone circuits events.

To provide accomodation for the 1st Long Melford Scout and Guide groups by managing and maintaining the Headquarters building used by the individual groups. The building is also hired out to local community groups and for individual parties.

General charitable Purposes

To provide buildings and facilities for the purposes of physical and mental recreation and moral and intellectual development and entertainment for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Mildenhall.

To educate the public in the art of brass band music and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said art.To assist such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as shall from time to time be determined.

The aim of the charity is to provide for children with cancer and their families gifts, special holidays, parties etc. in order to help create happy memories. The charity will assist with the purchase of equipment for a child with cancer in order to help make their life easier. In the sad case where a child dies we will assist with the funeral costs and/or thereafter with the cost of a headstone.

Wash Sailability provides the facilities and personnel to give access to sailing for people over the age of 7 with no upper age limit who have any form or severity of disability Full training is provided so that all members are able to sail unassisted if they wish to, and opportunities for further training to higher levels is encouraged.

Provides financial assistance for educational activities.

We provide and maintain a Museum and Heritage Centre in the annexe of the Long Melford Memorial Village Hall, for the purpose of acquiring, preserving and displaying items of interest relating to Long Melford and its environs. In addition we undertake and promote archival and archaeological research, the results of which will be published for the public benefit.

Girlguiding Colneis covers the Felixstowe Peninsula and supports the Units and Volunteers who bring Girlguiding to the Felixstowe Area. The Division includes the Girlguiding Colneis Division Centenary Headquarters, which is run by a Sub-Committee, for use not only by Girlguiding members but the local community as a community space.

GENERAL FUND RAISING FOR EDUCATION OF PUPILS

THE CHARITY WAS SET UP TO HELP THE POOR OF THE VILLAGE AND MAKES GIFTS OF MONEY TO LOCAL PEOPLE IN NEED AT THE CHARITY'S DISCRETION.

Hana's Gift provide funding for headstones/memorials to bereaved parents in Norfolk & Suffolk who sadly lose a child from 20 weeks gestation in pregnancy up to 5 years old. We also offer emotional support and give memory boxes and keepsakes to families we help financially.
