East Bergholt Heartwatch is a group of Community First Responders whose aim is to provide 24 hour emergency coverage within the communities of East Bergholt, Brantham and Holton St. Mary in Suffolk. Volunteers are trained in the use of portable Automated External Defibrillation equipment to attend medical emergencies in the community. The Group has provided wall-mounted AEDs within the community.

The object of the association are to advance education of pupils by providing and assisting in provision of facilities for education (not normally provided by LEA). This to foster relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

Cavendish Care offers help with transport to hospital, doctor & other necessary journeys. Social coffee morning held weekly - transport provided if necessary. Various outings throughout year - seaside, garden centres, theatre, meals etc.

The object of the Trust is to provide funds through a medium of grants for the recreational, social moral and intellectual development of the inhabitants of the parishes of Flempton and Hengrave without distinction of sex, age or of political , religious or other opinions. We are a local charity for the Blind & Partially Sighted in the West Suffolk Council area. We provide weekly audio newsletters on digital memory stick, containing news extracted from local newspapers, and bi-monthly audio magazines containing interviews, short stories and articles of local interest.The service is free of charge to Listeners including the supply of digital players.

Development and maintenance of Layham Playing Field

To continue to support and improve the services we offer our patients by either purchasing and updating medical equipment or by improving the quality of care provided. In order to achieve the latter we have sent our nursing staff on certain, approved training days or courses to improve medical knowledge and skills employed in day to day care of patients.
