Scouting

Les Abeilles de Manchester is a Saturday supplementary school who supports bi-lingual francophone children from birth to 16 years old. We offer sessions to support children in their learning of the French language and the francophone culture. Older students are also preparing for British and French exams.

Fundraising and events are organised to raise money to be used for school items such as contributions to the purchase of minibuses for out of school activities.

Fundraising activities

We are a Methodist Church based in Altrincham in Greater Manchester and our charitable purpose is set out in the Methodist Church Act 1976. We offer places of worship, education and raising awareness about faith and pastoral care. our buildings are open to the community and we seek to serve the community by providing practical help and groups for mutual care and support for all generations.

To establish, develop and maintain a Synagogue for the purposes of advancing Jewish religious and educational activities.

Provision of Scouting instruction and Activities

For the public benefit, to advance improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music, speech and drama in all their aspects, in particular but not exclusively, by providing an annual Festival of public performance by amateurs, with professional adjudication for performers and through the presentation of public concerts, masterclasses and recitals

Support for local people and groups, particularly in education and youth areas.

The advancement of education, in particular of persons of minority groupsthe relief of persons from minority groups who are in need of need of reson of poverty, sickness and distress

To advance the education of the community in Manchester by the provision of workshops, conferences and courses that address current and key issues affecting local people.To advance in life and help young people in Manchester through the access of, in particular however not exclusively, vocational training courses and workshops that develop the beneficiaries skills to participate in society.
