To promote and protect the physical and mental health of individuals experiencing hair loss through cancer treatment, in particular but not exclusively working within hospitals and charitable organisations throughout the UK, to provide support and practical advise on scalp care, how to wear scarves, hats and other head wear. HOBY UK organises residential seminars and one-day workshops for young people, led by young people. We improve their life-outcomes by developing their self-awareness and self-esteem, building their confidence and providing them with leadership skills. We empower and motivate them to become involved in positive social action in their community.

Offer relief of people with TCS by the provision of information, advice and financial support for essential medical supplies/procedures through a grant process. Advance education and promote wider knowledge and understanding of the problems of TCS and other craniofacial conditions amongst the public through workshops and social media.

Promotion of the Metamorphic Technique to the general public through seminars, workshops and literature. To promote awareness, understanding and use of the Metamorphic technique in the UK and internationally and to uphold standards in practising and teaching the Technique.

The Virgil Society usually holds five public meetings each year in central London which are attended without charge by members and non-members. Meetings include presentations of paper, discussion sessions and readings from the works of Virgil. A Newsletter is published for members twice a year. Members range from those who are Virgilian scholars to those who have a basic knowledge of Latin.

The Trust considers applications for donations and grants to other charitable institutions both in the UK and overseas.
