This is achieved by running a series of weekend training courses on all practical aspects of archaeology from carrying out geophysical surveys to interpreting finds. In addition the charity runs a training excavation.

General Charitable Activities

The purpose of the RCA is to improve the quality of life of the residents of Rudloe and environs by contributing to their social, physical, economic, educational, financial and environmental well being and sense of belonging, and to provide a social hub at the centre of the community

The charity's objects are to provide educational opportunities for children between the ages of 13 to 19 across the West Wiltshire area. In furtherance of these objects the charity operates a range of courses across levels 1,2 and 3 as well as staff training and enrichment activities and trips for students.

Overall, the area continues to be widely used and is popular with the public.

Provides open space for sport and recreation for the general public

To relieve either generally or individually persons resident in the parishes of Downton and Redlynch who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.

Playing field to provide recreational space for people of all ages. In the area is a basket ball hoop & boule pitch, picnic tables & benches and bbq.

To advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of the public including but not limited to the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, the provision of places of worship and producing literature on Islam. To establish liaison and work with government, voluntary sector, local authority, statutory bodies, and other agencies and religions to promote good relations between people.South West England

We help local groups (ie netball/football teams) by giving donations. Help our local community by holding Christmas parties for elderly persons alone at Christmas and 100 under privileged children. Take under privileged families for days out to the seaside (something they could not afford to do) as we still have no centre to work from at the moment.
