Maintenance carried out by Calne Town Council of The Green. This really does not need charity status any more. Please advise if we need to do anything to action this and confirm that submissions are no longer necessary.

We help local groups (ie netball/football teams) by giving donations. Help our local community by holding Christmas parties for elderly persons alone at Christmas and 100 under privileged children. Take under privileged families for days out to the seaside (something they could not afford to do) as we still have no centre to work from at the moment.

To support the development of educational facilities outside the UK.

Support and development of fairtrade activities and principles. Support for local and international projects that have relevance to people of Faringdon and surrounding area that are based on Christian principles of social justice

We provide a meeting place once a week (on a Wednesday) for members to enjoy activities, socialising, entertainment, a meal and refreshments. We follow up if anyone fails to attend to make sure they are alright and provide help if they need it.

Religious

The Trustees manage Tisbury Reading Room - currently leased to Tisbury Parish Council. The Trustees lease this building, on a repair and maintenence basis, to the council to currently provide an office, information centre and meeting space for the local community.
