Jepun Appeal fundraises in the UK to help children and communities in need in Indonesia. This year our work focus is to reorganise our work structure, rejuvenite our board of trustees and building our social media presence. We did a few fundraising events however fewer distribution activitiies. With the new crew on board we are hoping to increase our activities in the UK as well as in Indonesia.

We have provided fundraising support to a number of individuals to collect funds for a variety of fundraising activities. We continue to look for high impact/low grant projects within our remit.

Charters Leisure Centre is a dual use facility managed by Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. In Jan 2007 the Centre benefited from improvements when the community room & fitness suite were extended, enlarging the gym & upgrading the workout environment. Improvements also included a new BodyZone reception & new automatic doors improving access for all. New car parking has been added in 2010.

Campaigning on behalf of local residents in respect of all health services in our area including meetings with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and NHS Hospital Trusts. Particularly focusing on maintaining services at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot.

Paul Bevan Cancer Foundation & its trading subsiduary merged with another charity (Thames Valley Hospice) on 1.4.05 and all day to day activities are now carried out under the new charity-Thames Hospicecare-charity no 1108298.

Sport and Recreational Activities

The holding of Religious Services with General charitable purposes. Assisting with Overseas Aid to similar organisations.Assistance and charitable help to Children and young people as well as Elderly and old people.Offering assistance, help and religious advice to the General Public.

Provide training to young people in the Maidenhead, Taplow & Burnham area based on the principals of the Royal Navy. Subjects covered include rowing, canoeing, cookery, mechanical & electrical engineering, communications, various sports and many competitions.

Provide facilities and support to residents in areas liable to flooding in the Royal Borough area.
