Paul Bevan Cancer Foundation & its trading subsiduary merged with another charity (Thames Valley Hospice) on 1.4.05 and all day to day activities are now carried out under the new charity-Thames Hospicecare-charity no 1108298.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITABLE COMPANY ARE TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT THE SCHOOL BY OPERATING, MAINTAINING AND MANAGING THE SCHOOL, AND PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION.

Our mission is to give hope to young people in our local communities enabling them to make positive choices, by demonstrating love and acceptance according to Christian principles. This is achieved through detached street youth work, emotional literacy small groups in local shcools, family work, sports activities such as football and archery and our therapy through horses project.

Religious Education in accordance with the doctrines of the Church of England and secular education of the pupils of Shinfield schools.

Education and care of children between the ages of 2 and 4 inclusive.

The charity was registered in 1962 to provide a residence for an assistant priest and is now dormant.

The charity supports large projects such as building work and ICT within Crazies Hill Primary School.

Provision of a drop in social/activities club/dinner club based in Reading for adults with and without disabilities in the Berkshire area. Also provide a Saturday club for young people with and without disabilities. Activities promote inclusion and cover a wide range of skills and interests from sports activities through to IT basic skills training, there is an emphasis on independent living.

Support and development of fairtrade activities and principles. Support for local and international projects that have relevance to people of Faringdon and surrounding area that are based on Christian principles of social justice

To provide support,education and training fot a better future, by providing motor vehicle training to young people, for whom vocational training is more appropriate

Sing for your Life (South East) Ltd is dedicated to providing participatory singing programmes for older people. We provide the Silver Song Music Pod, which plugs in to a television. We have recorded original versions of popular songs from the past, which exclude long introductions and instrumental solos. The equipment enables us to alter the key and the tempo of the songs to suit the singers.
