Our club is a local branch of Lions Clubs International - the world's largest voluntary service organisation with 1.4 million members. We raise money locally to spend locally. We offer financial or practical help to individuals and groups - and also to certain local charities such as Hospice in the Weald.Our club area is roughly bounded by Five Oak Green, Yalding, Staplehurst and Horsmonden.

We raise money for improvements to St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove, an historic public park with significant wildlife interest. We have provided public information/interpretation boards and written information about features of the Gardens..; We provide volunteers to work on projects in the Gardens and we put on community festivals and wildlife events for the benefit of the local community.

The Institution raises money by means of donations and the income from investments; this is used to further the purposes of the charity and we are willing and able to help those who ask for the Institution's assistance and who come within the rules.

Continue to provide pre school education for 2 to 4.5 year olds. Continue as always with fundraising.

To raise money for the school activities and to purchase new equipment for the school

We are volunteers who raise funds for local causes in the GL15 and GL16 postcode areas of Gloucestershire. We assist other organisations in their fundraising or activities. We award grants to local charitable causes in the form of grants. We also donate to international disasters through Lions Club International.

The Society has weekly meetings in term time rehearsing for three or so public concerts each year, including outreach concerts in villages around Dorchester in the summer. It sings carol to raise money for local charities at Christmas, and is involved in musical exchanges with our our twinned towns in Germany and France.

We collect clothing and other items and raise funds to help asylum seekers in Hull and East Riding, as well as vulnerable people locally. We also provide a small amount of assistance to asylum seekers overseas. We aim to raise awareness of the situation of people seeking asylum, by organising public events, such as talks, and being involved in local festivals etc.

Objects of the Charity are to support the educational work of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. In furtherance of this, the Trust undertakes the following activities: providing monies for the SPAB Scholarship programme; organising the AGM for the Trust at a weekend event; fund raising to support the Trust and providing informal CPD for members.

We are a committee led Pre-School employing 5 part-time staff who provide an educational, safe environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. The committee is voluntary, members arrange fundraising events throughout the year to provide new resources, trips and parties for the children. This ensures good early years education.

The Hall is a hub for the village. Clubs using the facilities include: Indoor Bowls, Badminton, Aerobics and Keep Fit. Regular users are a pre-school club, day centre for elderly, the W.I. dancing classes and dog training. It is also hired for private events. Fund raising events are held to ensure that the facility is maintained for the benefit of the community.

The trust raises funds to help provide relief from poverty, destitution, misfortune and helplessness and the advancement of education to vulnerable children and orphans and their families. In particular the trust currently provides grants to the Ujamaa Children's in Arusha in North Tanzania.

Fundraising events: The organization can organize events to raise funds to support its cause. These could include charity walks, charity dinner, and benefit concerts. The proceeds from these events could go towards supporting the organization's programs and initiatives.

To advance the education of pupils in the school by organising fund raising events. Money raised is donated to the school to pay for activities, equipment or facilities that would not normally be paid for by the local authority. Equipment such as interactive whiteboards, well-stocked library and new learning areas have helped the school achieve Outstanding status by Ofsted in December 2008.

The choir rehearses weekly and performs in public approximately 10 times each year. In so doing we are able to improve the musical knowledge and abilities of our members, foster public appreciation of choral music, and raise money for charitable musical causes.

We are an independent charity run by a bunch of dedicated volunteers and Greyhound owners. HGRC is self-funded and relies on the generosity of supporters who love Greyhounds. Many of the dogs we get have been gifted in by their owners or found abandoned. Hull Greyhound Rescue has a charity shop for sales of donated goods including dog supplies and in normal times arranges fundraising events.

Raise funds to support disadvantaged children in the Western Cape region of South Africa and provide financial support to facilitate disadvantaged children to experience therapy through art.

Broomhill Community Trust operates from Broomhill Community Library, 10 Taptonville Road, Broomhill, Sheffield, S10 5BR. The Trust was established to progress the development of the library building and its heritage garden, and also now operates the volunteer-run Community Library services and activities. It raises funds through donations, grants and developed revenue streams.
