Fundraising events for Manland Primary School

The Charity carries out the charitable activities of The Rotary Club of Gravesend and Meopham ('theClub').The Club itself is not a charity, but its members carry out activities and fund raising for charitable purposes.

To fund raise by various events to provide other funds for school equipment and needs. This is achieved by various events such as xmas bazaar, summer event, quiz nights, xmas cards and many others.

We raise funds for Park infrastructure such as lighting, exercise equipment, seating and table tennis tables. We also raise funds for planting and horticultural restoration. Our members help with park maintenance and conduct regular litter picking. We are currently campaigning to raise funds for installing heritage information signs and for upgrading the Sandford Park playground.

Raises funds to provide defibrillators and have trained people available to use them at public events/ venues.

The Lifeboat Fund (formerly called CISPOTEL) is an official charity of the Civil Service and receives donations from Royal Mail and BT staff. The Fund raises money for the RNLI to provide new lifeboats and to train and equip crews. Since it was founded in 1866, The Lifeboat Fund has provided 54 lifeboats, saving over 4,700 lives and has helped refurbish a lifeboat station on the River Thames.

AFFILIATED TO THE ROUND TABLE OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND. SAFFRON WALDEN ROUND TABLE RAISES FUNDS THROUGH EVENTS AND COMMUNUITY SERVICES ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY.

To facilitate the social interaction of families and friends of Kingsnorth Church of England Primary school and to raise additional funding for the School. We also support the school at non fundraising events and information sessions, as requested.

Rose Hill School Parents Association organises and hosts fundraising events and activities to fund projects and purchase equipment that will further enhance the education of the pupils. Such events and activities include school fairs, discos, film and quiz nights. All activities take place on the school's premises.

Activities involve organising fundraising activities with the proceeds going to the benefit the children at Fairfield School.

We raise funds for the school through fun events targeted at the children & parents of children attending Halterworth Community Primary School. Typical activities include discos, non-uniform days, cake sales, quiz nights & twice yearly fayres.

THE HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION OF THE INLAND WATERWAYS RAISING FUNDS FOR RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION PROJECTS. ALSO RAISING FUNDS TO RUN CECILIA, A 70 FT NARROWBOAT THAT IS USED BY GROUPS LOOKING AFTER SPECIALS NEED, THE ELDERLY AND OTHERS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO TAKE INTEREST IN THE HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION OF THE WATERWAYS. THE BOAT IS RUN ENTIRELY BY DONATIONS.

Hire of the hall to local groups ie Friendship Club,Mother and Toddlers Group, Indoor Bowls, Local dance group, Local band practice,Film shows, Fund raising activities ie Dances Quiz nights, and also the rental of two cottages to local residents Local Polling Station

Barnstaple Lions Club is part of the International Association of Lions Clubs. The members raise funds from the general public to support our charitable objectives by using these funds in the relief of hardship, support for our community, young persons and other charities. The Club considers international requests through our organisation for disaster relief and health improvement programmes .

We are a charity supporting the families of 0-5's in Bicester and Surrounding Villages.We support by redistributing clothing and equipment in good condition from other families to families in need.Referrals are given out to us by health professionals, charities, schools and any agency that knows of a family in need. We fundraise also in order to top up stocks and rent a base for our stocks.

The activities of the charity mainly consist of holding fund raising events within the school and donating funds to the school.

Organsing fund raising events for parents and children of the school such as disco's, quizzes, childrens' activities etc to support the running of the school.

The Friends of Cannizaro Park was founded in 1997 and works with Merton Council to protect this 300 year old Grade II* listed garden. The activities of the Friends include a volunteer group to undertake garden maintenance; funding of and fund-raising for planting and restoration; providing information on the park and organizing guided walks for the public.

Overseas: raising funds for development projects and emergency aid.In Devon, arranging holidays for disadvantaged families; providing toys for prisoner's children visiting prisons; knitting goods for the elderly and for still-born babies; providing goods for womens' refuges and prisoners, supporting rufugees. Supporting actions against gender based violence and modern day slavery.

National K9 Memorial was set up to raise funds to create the first National Memorial to recognise the sacrifice and service given by Police Dogs in the UK... this memorial has now been created and the purposes of the charity has now been met, an application to have the charity closed has now been submitted
