Fundraising on behalf of Newbridge Primary School

Provide financial support to families and their children up to the age of 18 suffering from a brain tumour or any type of childhood cancer attending Ward 6 at Sheffield Childrens Hospital. We raise money by doing fund-raising activities in the UK. We support all attendees of Ward 6 who request funding regardless of their home address.

FOR HALL HIRE OF PARTIES ETC, AND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE VILLAGE HALL.

The purpose of the JRSA is to advance the education of its students by developing effective relationships between staff, parents, carers and others within the school. It will aim to achieve this by providing, facilities and equipment which support the school and help the education of the students. The JRSA does this by raising funds via social evenings, concerts, raffles, quiz nights etc.

Our Brave Knight is a charity that raises money for those researching into the rare genetic disorder, XIAP Deficiency. All monies raised will be donated to this type of research.

WEEKE PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENT ASSOCIATION organises fundraising events throughout the school calendar to raise money for projects, activities and equipment for the school that the school budget does not cover.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL BY DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF PARENTS & OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL, BY ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN ARE PTA & SUB-CTTEE MEETINGS TO ORGANISE FUND AND NON-FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR PARENTS TEACHERS AND PUPILS.

THE RELIEF OF THE SICK AND ELDERLY RESIDENTS AT CONNAUGHT COURT AND THE FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BY THE RECEIPT OF DONATIONS AND BY FUND RAISING EVENTS, ALLOWING FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE USE OF THE RESIDENTS AND THE SUPPORT OF THE DAILY ACTIVITIES OF THE RESIDENTS

Hampton Infants School Association or HISNA is a charity whichraises funds for Hampton Infant School & Nursery. Our fundraising is led by parents and volunteers whogenerously donate time, money andmaterials to our fundraising efforts.These funds support the school with newresources and equipment and educational experiences forthe children.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS USED THROUGHOUT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. HIRING FOR TEA DANCES, PRE-SCHOOL, DANCE , INDOOR BOWELS CLUBS ,AND SO ON. ALSO USED FOR WEDDINGS, FUNERALS AND CHRISTENINGS. IN THE SUMMER TIME THE FIELDS AROUND THE HALL ARE USED FOR FUND RAISING EVENTS WITH THE VILLAGE HALL BEING THE CENTRE.

The main activity of the charity is to maintain and operate the library for the residents of Dinas Powys. It is staffed by volunteers supported by a part-time librarian funded by the Vale of Glamorgan Council. As well as the provision of books, large print and audio, we offer computer access, dvds, photocopying, children's activities and a range of fund raising events.

Long Crendon School PTA organises a variety of fundraising events during each year and the surplus raised by these events is passed on to the school to be spent on educational facilities.

The Friends is a membership organisation which raises funds from subscriptions, donations, investments and other activities. The Friends' purpose is to make grants to the chapter of Worcester cathedral and other groups within the cathedral in preserving, maintaining and developing the cathedral's mission, resources, music and other aspects of the worship and life of the cathedral.

TO RAISE FUNDS

Fund raising to promote the work of the Haematology unit at Swansea NHS Trust, and related institutions in Wales, in the support of patients and their families diagnosed with blood cancer diseases e.g. Lymphoma, Leukaemia and Multiple Myeloma. This includes the purchase of equipment not normally provided by the NHS. Also to promote research and disseminate information related to blood cancer.
