Girlguiding Surrey East is part of Girlguiding UK, which enables girls to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through a distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by volunteer leaders.

Our volunteers befriend some of the most vulnerable people in prison regardless of their location or crime. Throughout our work we stay in contact with people in prison and ex-offenders for as long as they need our help. We have no artificial cut-off points. Our subsidiary company, Inside Time, publishes Inside Time the national newspaper for people in prison.

Within North Shields, Saint Columba's United Reformed Church aims to share the love of God, known to us through Jesus Christ. It holds weekly worship services and frequent Christian education events. Home-Start Blackmore Vale helps build better lives for children. It supports isolated, struggling and vulnerable families either in their own homes, or through group work. The family must have a least one child under 5 years. The support enables them to cope with difficulties through a network of trained volunteers who work with the family according to their individual needs.

We support the Polish Saturday School in Manchester by providing teaching resources to further the educational and cultural program leading to national qualifications at GCSE, AS and A level in the Polish language. We hire suitable premises, and employ both paid and volunteer staff in teaching or support capacities, and ensure the health and safety of all students attending the school.

Home-Start North East Worcestershire works in the areas of Bromsgrove and Redditch Local Authorities with families who have a child up to the age of eighteen. The charity provides volunteers and support workers who support the whole family. Work undertaken is done in conjunction with both statutory and non-statutory organisations in the area.

We are an independent small scale charity organization operated entirely by volunteers. We aim to be an inclusive group here to enhance educational support of Pennington School children through fundraising, community, and support.

The charity operate a preschool and offer wrap around care in the form of a breakfast and afterschool club for children aged up to 11 years. The charity is run by a committee of volunteer members, mainly parents of children attending the preschool. There is an appointed preschool manager responsible for the staff and daily running of the group.

Girlguiding Shropshire is within Girlguiding Midlands Region and part of the national Girlguiding organisation. Girlguiding Shropshire enables girls and young women to develop their potential so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world, through a self planned programme of activities and challenges, guided by trained adult volunteers.

Collects and distributes pre-owned furniture and appliances to low income households setting up home, or sells them on at affordable prices to raise funds. Thereby reduces volume of bulky waste going to landfill; also supports volunteers, including those wanting to get back to work.

The Spearhead Trust addresses a number of complex social issues within the community (www.spearheadtrust.org.uk). We engage with residents of all ages, ethnicity and from different backgrounds. The organisation has a Family Support worker and many volunteers. WRH aims to provide volunteer led activity holidays with aims consistent with the trust deed of the charity. The aims can be summarised as "To make Jesus known through running exciting, excellent activity holidays for young people".

We are a small community centre based in the heart of Catford. Our aim is to provide the community a safe and welcoming place where people can participate in healthy activities such as sports, gardening and eating homemade healthy food. We have a beautiful volunteer lead community garden where we grow our own produce for people to enjoy our homecooked food.
