We provide social sessions for older people, adults, carers and the person they care for across Calderdale at 3 weekly sessions. We provide a 2 course meal, activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing, entertainment, refreshments and days out with transport for those who need it, in a safe community space with a great team of volunteers

Maidstone West Scout District seeks to promote the aims of Scouting within the West Maidstone and surrounding area. Scout Groups and Units within the District provide a balanced programme of activities to young people from 6 to 25 years of age. Activities are delivered by adult volunteers and are centred on promoting challenge, adventure and leadership to young people.

The week long Chapel Allerton (arts) Festival takes place annually in early September. Local performers, artists and community groups take part. Some events take place in the week and the event culminates in a weekend street festival. It is planned and run entirely by volunteers.

To help individuals and churches to compassionately engage with and support people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in our city. We provide caring, supportive chaplaincy and lead outreach, groups and activities for the homeless community. We also train volunteers to get involved in our work of addressing the root causes of homelessness: poverty of resources, relationships and identity.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empoweringthem to make a positive contribution to society. Selby District Scouts provides activities directly to young people aged 14-25, and supports Scout Groups and volunteers across the wider Selby area who work directly with young people aged between 4 and 14 years old.

Brand new (2019) large village hall with stage and car parking run by group of volunteers. The village pre-school, a senior activity group, local am drams and various evening clubs such as Martial Arts, Brownies, model helicopter and race car clubs use the hall. Also used for parties, weddings, charity fund raising events. Income to cover running costs derived from letting fees/fund raising.

The Friends of Judith Kerr Primary School is a volunteer organisation which exists to advance the education of the pupils in the Judith Kerr Primary school by:Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school,Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils

Volunteer support for young families who are experiencing difficult and stressful situations. Our Volunteers who are parents themselves, visit families in their own home once a week and offer friendship, support and practical help. All families supported by the charity must have at least one child under five years of age and live in one of the two districts of Daventry and South Northants.

The charity provides trained volunteers to simulate injuries and medical conditions, to improve the realism of training in first aid, nursing, and emergency and rescue services.

VISION is a Christian charity working with young people in Rossendale. We run free activities for children and teenagers at our own venue, partner with local schools to deliver classes and assemblies, equip young volunteers with practical skills and opportunities to lead, and provide a professional youth counselling service.

The Shelley Centre is a member of The Riding for the Disabled Association Charity no 244108. As an independent charity we provide riding for the health & wellbeing for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities. We not only teach riding skills but use the horse for therapy through exercise. We work five days a week during term time with approx 130 riders a year and 90 volunteers.

Ryedale Dog Rescue is a charity caring for unwanted and abandoned dogs in the Ryedale, Scarborough and East Yorkshire areas. It is run by a team of volunteers and financed soley by donations and fundraising events.

The main aim of TEECH is to improve the health of children and communities by creating bathrooms in schools in the Republic of Moldova, Eastern Europe, by volunteers, where no indoor bathrooms exist. The charity also collects, transports and hand delivers humanitarian aid to Eastern Europe. We also carry out a Christmas 'shoe box' gift and food delivery in December/January each year.
