We partner with local schools to offer complimentary workshops to teach young people about theatre and opera; with community organisations to run sessions with elderly groups, and provide opportunities for local people to be involved as volunteers.

INCREASE THE CONFIDENCE AND INDEPENDENCE OF VULNERABLE FAMILIES BUILDING STRONG AND SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL NETWORKS, HARNESSING THE VOLUNTEER CAPACITY WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. FAMILIES, WITH THE SUPPORT OF THEIR VOLUNTEER ARE MORE LIKELY TO ACCESS HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE SERVICES, DEVELOP THEIR PARENTING SKILLS, GROW IN CONFIDENCE AND BE MORE ABLE TO ACCESS ACTIVITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES.

The Trustees are keen to support a wide range of areas that would have been of interest to the late Mrs Verina Black. In particular to support volunteer led projects that enhance rural life and promote local skills. The Trustees are keen to act on a matched funding basis wherever possible, but will consider stand alone funding where there is significant benefit for the community.

The Foundation advances the education of the public in the subjects of Yoga, Meditation, Mantra and Yagyas. Grants are made to organisations that further support the objectives of the foundation to aid creation. All our charitable activities are volunteer based.

The objects of the CIO is for the public benefit the advancement of health and saving lives through the provision of first aid and event medical services in Essex and surrounding areas, and facilitation of training to our membership and the wider population.

PROVIDE BESPOKE TRAINING, RESEARCH, CONSULTATIONS.

Unit meetings, adventure days, outings, trips, sleepovers, pack holidays and camps for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers. Girls enjoy weekly activities linked to their age appropriate programmes run by trained volunteers.

The provision of sleeping accommodation and snack meals to rough sleepers each night between January and March. Currently twelve venues are providing twenty beds every night in Oxford churches, with over three hundred volunteers enlisted to cover three shifts a night.

Westwood is a small local charity helping people in and around High Green, Sheffield feel more connected.We offer companionship to people facing loneliness or isolation, whatever the reason. Our funds support volunteers and run regular activities, bringing people together in welcoming spaces, building friendship, belonging and a say in decisions that affect their lives.
