Constable's Close is a playing field and MUGA available for free use by Alvescot residents and people from surrounding villages. Inclosure Award of 1797 Commissioners awarded one acre approximately to and for the Parish Constable of Alvescot. By a Scheme in 1914 the land became vested in the Parish Council for the benefit of the inhabitants of Alvescot. Administered by Alvescot Parish Council.
