Childcare Charities That specialise in Playground

The charity aims to provide play equipment and improve community cohesion. It does this through organising events and activities to raise money whilst having fun. By providing a community hub in the form of a regenerated play area, the children can play, socialise and network, addressing health and mental well being, whilst providing support opportunities for the parents and other residents.

Our PTA works with our school, parents and pupils to organise events open to the local community and school events. We also provide hospitality at school events. We use funds we raise to buy goods and services for the benefit of the children at our school, such as playground equipment, musical instruments, computers and books

We raise funds and encourage donations for the extra benefit of autistic children and young people at Uffculme School. We apply to Trusts for grants to support residential holidays (Douglas Turner Trust & Grantham Yorke Trust). Parents also undertake fundraising. In 2018 visits were supported from these grants. We also apply for grants for larger items, e.g. playground equipment."

This charity refers to the allotment of land on Monk's Hill in Westbourne, West Sussex, bought by Westbourne Parish Council in 1948 which it registered as a charity in 1974. Its intended use at all times is as a place for exercise and recreation for the inhabitants of the Parish of Westbourne and neighbourhood. It includes a large recreation ground and children's play area.

Being the hub of the local community, the Community Centre provides a full size soccer pitch for the use of various teams in the locality, along with a short 5-a-side pitch within a specific space and the most important aspect is the provision of a childrens playground with play equipment.

Play Area

The Charity was established under a conveyance in 1943, its sole Object being to make the land in question available as a children's playground during the period 1st April to 31st October. There is no proviso that play equipment must be installed and the position remains that the land is deemed public, open, recreational space.

The Recreation Ground is approximately 4.5 acres, we do not have any changing facilities available on the recreation ground.There is a childrens play area duly fenced to keep dogs out and children safe within.The Recreation Ground is run by the Gravenhurst Recreation Ground Committee.
