Sing Inside deliver group singing workshops in prisons across England and Wales, engaging volunteers from local community organisations and universities to form a choir alongside prison residents and staff. We work to build self-confidence and self-worth through shared musical and vocal skills, breaking down stereotypical views about prisons and building strong communities through group singing.

The Shirley Community Chaplaincy( North East) helps,supports and encourages ex-offenders to integrate successfully back into society. We offer counselling,practical support and a range of activities to assist ex- offenders to make the transition out of prison.Activities include; camping,fishing, walking and visits to places of interest. Ex- offenders are encouraged to train as peer mentors.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PRISONERS AND THOSE AT RISK OF BECOMING PRISONERS IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A TRAUMA-INFORMED AND MINDFULNESS-BASED YOGA AND MEDITATION PROGRAMME DELIVERED AS A MEANS OF ADDRESSING THEIR TRAUMA, MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILL-HEALTH AND PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR RECOVERY, REHABILITATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

Working in partnership with the prison management team, the organisation provides initiatives which areproven to support offenders with the challenges of resettlement and rehabilitation. With these initiativeswe help offenders face up to the impact of their crimes and help them develop skills and behaviours whichwill make them better able to find employment when they leave prison.

Rideout (Creative Arts for Rehabilitation) specialises in drama, theatre and multi-artform projects for prisoners, ex-offenders in the community, and other groups experiencing social exclusion including autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities. In addition we also deliver programmes that engage the general public in issues of criminal and social justice.

SUPPORTING NEW AND EMERGING GROUPS WITH SOCIAL, WELFARE AND EDUCATIONAL AIMS; DELIVERING A RANGE OF FRONT LINE SOCIAL SUPPORT SERVICES, INCLUDING ADULT EDUCATION, CAREERS ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WITH QUALIFICATIONS BELOW LEVEL II, AND DIRECT SUPPORT FOR PRISONERS' FAMILIES.

Religious Institute of the Roman Catholic Church. Religious Sisters living in communities in Leicester, York and Birmingham and carrying out charitable works including the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion, for example prison chaplaincy, breavement counselling, hospital visiting, parish ministry, catechetics and community service.

GHO & CHC are a church based charity. We are set up to alleviate poverty, give advise, teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our community initiatives include:- youth work,- Extra educational coaching/training for 13-18year old in school work and 'skills-for-life'- Hospital and Prison visits;- Christian evangelical and mission works in UK and World;- Training on family matters- Outreach

We are completing media training course for people in drug and alcohol recovery. Our volunteers are engaged in writing, scripting, filming and editing a short film. Eternal have been commissioned to work with volunteers from the recovery community to make films about Arson crime, New psychoactive substances and the building of a new local super prison.

The objects are to support and protect the mental and physical health of individuals who are or have been in detention pending trial or after conviction to assist in rehabilitation. Achieved by the making of block grants to other charities and voluntary bodies listed in the Hardman Trust's Prisoner Funder Directory which in turn make grants to individual applicants limited to £25 per person p.a

To help those with disabilities and special needs, young offenders, those recovering from alcohol or substance abuse and those suffering conditions such as dementia or strokes by the provision of facilities, activities and educational training in London and the home counties. To provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing

We reach out to families by organising parenting groups, parent & toddler groups and marriage preparation resources, family holidays, support for families at our local prisons and women's refuges and a commitment to uphold members around the world in our prayers. Since September 2010 we have employed, with the help of grants, a Community Development Co-ordinator to facilitate this work.

Touchstone Projects supports motivational and inspirational programmes in prisons and immigration detention centres in the UK and abroad.Other supported projects include educational programmes in Africa as well as poverty and disaster relief in Africa and Asia.

We offer mediation services for neighbours, victim and offenders, parents and teenagers, anger management and peer mediation in schools. All these in the Maidstone Council area and part of the Tonbridge & Malling Council area.

Cornergate Foundation works with prisoners/ex-offenders helping them to rehabilitate and resettle after prison, refraining from crime. We work with people in addictions, mental health conditions and the lonely and isolated as these factors all overlap. Core work is in befriending/mentoring, addiction recovery, signposting to other agencies and advocacy. We work in Hertfordshire and surrounds.

Remake is a charity which works with ex offenders , schools and universities to provide entrepreneurship training , work placements and venture capital help to help with employment,self employment and reentry

To provide emotional support to people by Telephone, SMS, Email or face to face. Operate A listener scheme in Swansea Prison and work in Partnership with other Organisations to provide emotional support. Fund raise to support the running of a Branch and to operate a Charity Shop.

Prodigal Bikes collects unwanted bikes in the UK. We refurbish them, then send them to Africa to help people there gain access to education, healthcare and employment. The bikes are prepared here by ex-offenders, ex-homeless people and school children at risk of exclusion. We teach them bike maintenance skills and inspire them towards further training and employment in Engineering related jobs.

COFEPOW built the Far East Prisoners of War Memorial Building, at the N.M.A in Staffordshire to perpetuate the FEPOW memory with a portrayal of their horrifying captivity during World War II. On COFEPOW's web site, www.cofepow.org.uk, a database on FEPOWs assists the education/research of people world wide. COFEPOW continues maintaining the Memorial Building and adjoining areas.

Kent Refugee Help supports refugees and migrants held in London and Kent prisons. We help people access legal advice and representation to fight their case. After release we continue to help in other ways, supporting them and providing small cash sums for emergencies. We offer legal advice for immigration via telephone or face to face. We are regulated to give immigration legal advice by OISC.

Borderline Books: providing free books to organisations working with vulnerable people of all ages. Promoting literacy for all age groups. Free books for prisoners.Multilingual Library with books in 105 languages & dialects; bilingual books for children; language classes; meeting space for refugee groups & others; educational activities. Library of Sanctuary.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and people are challenged to put their faith into action, to be obedient to God and to be good citizens in our community. Support also is given to selected organisations that specialise in Bible teaching, work with prisoners, establishing Christian fellowships, social problems and relief for those devastated by natural disasters around the world.
