Crime and Justice Charities

Delivering philosophy education, advice and information to persons in custody in Her Majesty's prisons throughout England and Wales. We achieve this by running workshops, conferences, seminars and lectures. We train philosophers to deliver philosophy courses which we arrange, facilitate and fund.

We try to meet the spiritual, social, physical and educational needs of the local community through one-to-one and group support. We provide food parcels, clothing, signposting individuals to accommodation, and assistance in preparing for job interviews. We also do hospital, residential care home and prison visits on a quarterly basis.

To raise awareness of Adult ADHD and campaign for mandatory ADHD screening throughout the Criminal Justice System, Addiction and Homeless services in the UK. To actively promote ADHD training for Teachers. For ADHD screening to be mandatory from the age of five, and at every transition, in UK schools. Campaigning to stop the School-to-Prison Pipeline.

The charity supports the work of chaplaincy at HMP Send and other prisons in England and Wales and provides grants against certain criteria to prisoners at HMP Send and other prisons in England and Wales.

This year activities we was building a website for our charity www.ukdrcbridge.org.uk and we was giving advices on HIV, prison and detentions visit.

Inspired by the example of Jesus who "went about doing good", this trust aims in his name to try to prioritise and help address some of the identified practical and spiritual needs of prisoners and their families in this country and in Ethiopia and, through this holistic Christian approach, achieve positive changes for the benefit of them and the wider community whatever their beliefs.

We find single person accommodation in the private sector for veterans who are or at risk of being homeless or in prison and provide ongoing support during their tenancy for problems that led to their situation or with their tenancy or benefits. We refer issues such as mental health, alcohol or drug misuse, or debt, to specialist partners. We provide access to employment and lifeskills training,

We organise events for hospitals, hospices, special needs residences, communal centres for the blind, prisons, using Greek music as therapy. The purpose of the Charity is:1) The promotion of Greek music, 2) The support of musicians and artists3) Outreach work4) Education work in both Greek and schools of all nationalities.

SCRCC promote Somali community in Coventry community cohesion. Enable the community to meet & exchange knowledge & information. Provide opportunities to access jobs, education, training, & services e.g. housing, benefits, health. Provide advice & guidance, interpretation, crime prevention &conflict resolution. Provide additional education to children aged 6 to 16 yrs, keeping the children safe.

The charity aims to break the cycle of re-offending, relapse and homelessness. It helps people to reconnect and reintegrate into society by: demonstrating the unconditional love of Jesus, providing accommodation for vulnerable adults including ex-offenders and people with addiction problems, supporting tenants into work, education or training, sharing how to have a living relationship with Jesus.

The main activities include running a respite project for carers and ex carers, interfaith activities, offering mindfulness based stress reduction courses and offering support to prisoners and those nearing end of life.

Promotion of crime prevention and education measures. The protection of people and property. The prevention of criminal acts. Encouragement of greater public participation in the prevention of crime. Provision of education and practical assistance to the community.

Our activities are to educate, encourage and transform the lives of young people who are vulnerable or at risk of offending or re-offending by a commitment to being part of the solution to safer communities and working partnership with school teachers, social workers, youth offending teams, probation officers, police officers, youth workers, prison officers and other organisations to reduce crime.

We are an affiliate of the Samaritans central charity providing listening services by telephone and email for people who need emotional support. We provide outreach services to prisons, schools, railway stations and other organisations to publicise our services and encourage people to talk to someone when they are feeling down.

The charity supports other charities carrying out charitable work in London (HIV positive families), Wales (with the elderly), Manchester (offenders, schools) and Norwich (teaching English).

MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT, PROTECTION & CONSERVATION OF BLAKENEY HARBOUR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.ADVICE & INFORMATION FOR HARBOUR USERS AND COMMUNITIES OF BLAKENEY AND MORSTON RELATING TO THE HARBOUR AND SURROUNDINGS.PROMOTION OF PUBLIC SAFETY, PREVENTION AND DETERRENCE OF CRIME IN AND AROUND THE BLAKENEY HARBOUR AREA.

We makes small grants to charities with a turnover under £300,000 per year . We support UK charities who work with and support groups that are radically disadvantaged: refugees and asylum seekers, substance abusers, offenders and ex-offenders, at risk and marginalised young people, people in insecure housing.

The charity carries out its activities in developing countries such as India and Africa for the relief of poverty and preservation of good health in particular but not exclusively by the provision of eye camps and prosthetic limbs and other medical aids not normally provided by the statutory authorities in developing countries. The charity also promotes road safety initiatives.

The promotion of Road Traffic Collision and Trauma training and development within each of the WRO member organisations. To promote the benefits of effective Post Crash Response and care with international partners and around the world.

To rehabilitate ex offenders, providing accommodation, support and a mixture of activities. To promote the resettlement of ex offenders. To offer direction and support with a view to training and employment. We operate from Oxfordshire.

Support of prison offenders and their families during sentence and to support their resettlement back into the community. Also to help deter the risk of re-offending and a further custodial sentence.

We are currently active in religious and community education, local outreach and community activities such as street ministry, prison ministry including visitations, fellowship groups (men, women & youth ministries). We also organise retreats and holiday clubs for all ages, social events such as Summer Ball's, Christmas meal?s, picnics and barbeques etc that we advertise to the whole community.
