To promote the objectives of The Institute of Advanced Motorists and Durham Police among motorcyclists in Durham for safe and considerate road use by training to an advanced level and in supervised group rides. All riders are welcomed for training, rides and for instructional and recreational club nights. Fund raising is carried out for good causes such as road safety charities.

We bring Joy is a charity that came around after a trip in DRC Congo. The aim for this charity is to help less fortunate people and homeless people and children that have lost their family and have no one to help or support them. we also do prison visits as there are people in there that have no one to feed them. we also visit hospitals, churches and so on. In a nutshell we want to help everyone

Grants to organisations to provide services in Bow, East London that will promote local social and economic regeneration.In particular: education and skills training; employment opportunities; recreational and cultural amenities; environmental and quality of life; regeneration and reduction of poverty; health promotion;crime prevention.Match funding will normally be requested from other bodies

A charitable Motorcycle Group affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists which aims to:improve the standard of motorcycle riding on the roads; improve road safety or lead to greater road safety or the promotion of road safety. This is achieved by volunteers coaching motorcyclists to pass nationally recognised advanced tests in the West Yorkshire area.

We prepare drivers to take the IAM's Advanced Driving Test by providing 4 Advanced Driving Courses each year. These consist of classroom sessions and practical guidance on the roads. We provide displays to publicise our courses. We work with and have the active support of the police and local authority to improve road safety. We contribute to articles about road safety issues in the local press.

Giving motorcycling guidance at an advanced level towards individual associate members passing the Institute of Advanced Motorists, Motorcycle Examination to allow full membership. This promotes safer motorcycling in accordance with the aims of the IAM.

To promote road safety primarily through offering guidance, via a team of trained and qualified observers, to enable individuals to achieve the standard of motorcycle riding to pass the advanced motorcycle test offered by the institute of advanced motorists.

The Guildford and District Group of Advanced Motorists offers guidance and advice to any driver wishing to take the Advanced Driving test. We also provide talks and driving assessments for any member of the public. Our aim is to promote driving safety within our geographic area.

Drug Watch Foundation (DWF) provides drug and alcohol awareness information packs and workshops to children up to 19 years in schools and colleges, educating them about the dangers, laws, health and social implications of drug and alcohol abuse. We have also put a programme together for UK prison service offering education and resettlement programme

Manchester 500 Group of Advanced Motorcyclists are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists. We offer courses throughout the year that help motorcycle riders to reach Advanced Test standard and enable them to take and pass the Test. We also have a social side to the group offering a variety of motorcycle related activities.

To provide finanacial assistance to ex-service men and there families on a case by case basis as and when required.
