The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, by the provision of facilities for the playing of amateur cricket, hockey, tennis, bowls and other sports and for other appropriate community activities.

We provide a facility for the local community and small groups to meet and take part in community activities. THE HUB PROVIDES A RANGE OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES IN THE ISLE OF SHEPPEY. CURRENT ACTIVITY INCLUDES YOUTH WORK, FAMILY SUPPORT, HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND RUNNING A FOOD SUPPORT BUS.

We are a community association who manage the Beeston Rylands Community Centre on Leyton Crescent, and the newly built Plessey Centre on Marconi Drive. We are run by volunteers who want to develop clubs and events that benefit the community. We have a full-time employed Community Development Officer who helps to realise our goals.
