The Chorley Community Trust has been established to provide sporting and leisure facilities and opportunities for the residents of Chorley and District.

To acquire and run Birstall Community Centre in an effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, ensuring that the building is maintained on behalf of the residents of Birstall and to use any surpluses for the benefit of the Birstall community.

The Cross Barn is a cultural and social hub for the inhabitants of Odiham and the surrounding area. The Barn can be hired for a range of community activities eg talks, meetings, concerts, fitness sessions etc as well as private functions such as family celebrations. Increasingly the Barn is providing a range of entertainment eg cinema and other social events to the community.

The specific objectives of the project are to: Create an inclusive community sports field serving local clubs, schools and people living in the area including disadvantaged groups and other special needs groups

Grace Church Doncaster is a church serving it's members and the local community. We do this by holding a Sunday Morning service at 10.45am at Hayfield Lane Primary School. We also hold a weekly Bible study and run various outreach and community activities including a Parent and Toddlers on a Monday morning from 9.30am and a cafe serving refreshments and cake on a Friday afternoon from 2.30pm.

The Hall provides rooms, equipment, bar/kitchen facilities and space for meetings, parties, theatrical performances and educational activities. It is available to local inhabitants, without any form of discrimination, and also to outside individuals and organisations. The committee sponsors regular community activities. There is associated managed woodland and a substantial parking area.
