Oakworth Community Trust has been setup to save the local Village Hall from closure. The trust continues to run existing services held in the village hall but will also extend the services held in the village hall. It will also extend and enhance the building for future generations of villagers with in the Parish of Oakworth.

To further benefit the residents of Hull and the neighbourhood by associating together the residents and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

Village hall available for community activities.

The Rockhouse Baptist Centre is an organisation which seeks to promote the religious and social well being of the attendees and the community as a whole. The Ministry organises conferences and other social and community activities to let the those attends the service to know their social responsibilities and to increase their relationship with God

The historic Turk's Head is fully restored and kept in good condition. A cafe is open 7 days a week and upstairs is workspace. The charity uses the rental income to support community activities in the area.We organise an annual event for the whole community in mid summer and work on the creation of community assets. We plan to restore Wapping's river stairs and build a lido in Shadwell Basin

The Trust is engaged in community development work in the Kabompo District of N.W. Zambia.The aim is toassist in education, income generation projects, health projects and leadership training.Work will be undertakenwith the co-operation of Local Authorities and other local Charities.

Objective 1: Promoting and advancing all aspects of the Christian faith to the public.Objective 2: Recreational activities particularly in relation to community activities such as holiday clubs for children and young people.Objective 3: Outreach to support those within our community who may be vulnerable, isolated and/or marginalised.

Operates Frimley Community Centre and supports community activities.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of football and other sports capable of improving health. To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement or public at large.

Grant making to small-scale charitable organisations usually with an annual income of under ?500,000 and minimal admin costs. Charities should have a focus on long-term sustainability and integrated community development and are usually based outside the UK. Donations usually around ?3000, ongoing funding is possible once a relationship has been established. Must have UK bank account.

RUNNING CHURCH SERVICES AND SEMINARS IN THE CHURCH WITH PROVEN MINISTERS OF THE FAITH TO GUIDE MEMBERS IN THE VARIOUS ASPECT OF CHRISTIAN FAITH. PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR OTHER CHARITIES AND CHRISTIAN EVENTS. INVOLVING IN ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

1. Conducting weekly Sunday and midweek Christian worship services.2. Running seminars in the church with proven ministers of the faith to guide members in the various aspect of Christian faith, 3. Support for other charities and Christian events,4. Providing overseas aid and famine relief, and5. Involving in economic and community development

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MARLOWE ACADEMY STUDENTS (& SUCH OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE FROM TIME TO TIME) AND INHABITANTS OF THANET AREA IN COMMUNICATION, BROADCASTING & OTHER MEDIA SKILLS AND TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND CITIZENSHIP FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH PROMOTION AND PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY RADIO STATION.

Religious and community Activities

CCT runs Chaldon Village Hall and provides other services for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Chaldon, including a Village Fete. The proceeds of the Fete are distributed to local organisations through grants.
