The Society aims to encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in the township of Horbury; to stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the town and its surroundings; and to encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest.

Sri Siddhi Vinayak Mandir (SSVM) is a non-profitable voluntary charitable incorporated organisation (1181371), serving the local Milton Keynes and nearby communities through weekly programmes of vedic practices and community development. The temple is open regularly on Sunday evenings.

Barlborough Civic Trust provides two buildings for school and community use with coffee shop facilities two morning a week. There are a wide range of community groups to cater for all ages from social clubs to various exercise activities for the residents of Barlborough and further afield. We now have a before and after school club in the Little School.

The Trust manages The Cathodeon Centre, Linton, which is a community building. Part is leased by Cambs County Council for Library Services and a Child & Family Centre.Remainder of the Centre is used by various local groups. Building is owned by Linton Parish Council.
