The Village Hall is the centre of our social community activities for the small hamlet of Sawdon within the North York Moors jurisdiction.Our activities include our Village Show, Cream Teas, Coffee Mornings and Parties etc.Our principle activity at the present is fund raising to replace our exhisting Hall which was an RAF hut. Its condition is such that we require a new Village Hall.

Nyungwe Forest National Park is pristine rainforest in south western Rwanda. NYUCO provides grants to local organisations working to conserve and protect the environment and to advance the education locally about conservation and sustainable development. Contributions towards mowing costs of the recreation ground are made annually.
