The purpose o fthe Charity is to provide donations for any and all charitable purposes as directed by the settlors, Andrew and Penelope Phillips (Lord and Lady Phillips of Sudbury). The settlors support education, third world, arts and christian charities and charitable purposes with an emphasis on local donations. A variety of donations were made in the year, mosty to local charities.

The objectives of the ministry; The advancement of the Christian Faith abroad, relief of persons who are in conditions of need/hardship/distress/sickness or aged. The principal activities includes: Christian worship/various ministries/ministers to propagate Christian tenets/relief of poverty/ overseas aid designed to increase Christian awareness.

The Harkalm Foundation will principally provide financial support and guidance to established charitable organisations registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales. It will carry out its provision in the UK, Europe and the Third World by supporting projects and charitable events which centre around families with young children, development, healthcare and education programmes.

GLOBAL ZAKAT FUND supports activities that address the abject poverty and disadvantage in Asia, Africa, Middle East and United Kingdom. Main area of focus is emergency disaster relief, humanitarian aid, health, education, skills and employment.
