The Felsted Memorial Hall is a multi-functional hall, providing a centre piece for the village and its surrounding Rural Community. It provides a focus for all age groups of our community to meet together or in appropriate or specialist groups. It ensures that the whole spectrum of our Community have a suitable venue in which to enjoy social, recreational, leisure and educational activities.

The nature reserve is located on a former landfill site next to the playing field on the Heatherlands Estate, classed as an Area of Rural Deprivation and formerly subject to fly-tipping, littering and other anti-social behavior. The focus of our activities is to transform this neglected site into a nature reserve for the benefit of wildlife, the local community and visitors from further afield.

The taking of Children with mental disorders, terminally ill and special needs on outings to the seaside,countryside,plays,films,pantomines and supply transport needs.We also provide finance to any school, home, hospice or individual child for any object the local councils do not provide, for special wheelchair, hand bells, or audio and visual equipment.Also money to other charities.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

Provides, in a rural location, accommodation for needy older people with connexions to Hawstead, or surrounding parishes in Suffolk

The Bamburgh Four & Twenty manages an agricultural property by renting out the land, property and buildings to 3rd parties. The Charity manage and preserve the property. The Charity operates in Northumberland near Bamburgh. Surplus funds received from rents less operating costs are either retained or donated to St. Aidans Church Bamburgh to help with the up keep and maintenance of the Church.

A club for young people age 12-28 in the Weald of Kent, offering personal development opportunities, including learning new skills through competitions such as livestock showing and craft. Members run the club, including organising fortnightly meetings and fundraisers. The club also gives grants to members for land-based training such as tractor driving, to enhance employability.

The promotion for the benefit of the public of urban and rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation and in particular Haydon Bridge and Haydon Parish in the County of Northumberland.Current activities include running of Community Library and Visitor Information Point, and Community website for Haydon Parish www.haydon-bridge.co.uk

Friends of Gressenhall support the work of the Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse Museum, its collections and its volunteer groups.

We have a range of activities. We compete if YFC competitions that can range from ploughing to cake decorating. We also hold club meeting and usually have activities such as rounders afterwards.

A rural Youth movement for members aged 10-26 yrs. Opportunities for young people to gain experience and confidence in entertainment & drama, public speaking, sports competitions, stock-judging & cattle rearing, travel, and skills & education. Clubs fund raise for themselves and other local charities. This is a member led organisation.

Sudbrooke Village Hall is a modern hall in an attractive rural setting adjacent to a children's play area and sports field. It has a modern commercial kitchen. The hall is used daily by local groups from Preschool to seniors.Regular social events are offered. A well stocked licensed bar is included in booking the main hall on request. 18th birthday parties are not permitted.

IT ALSO HOLDS SPORTS DAYS, CONCERTS, DOMINO DRIVES, WOMENS INSTITUTE, YOUNG FARMERS AND WEEKLY TODDLERS GROUP, AS WELL AS FUND RAISING EVENTS E.G. DUCK RACE, COFFEE EVENINGS AND HIRE OF THE HALL BY OTHER GROUPS

The charity gives grants to individuals & organisations situated or operating in Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas. The trustees have a particular emphasis on helping young people with their "education" with education being construed in its broadest sense and in particular (but without limitation) trades education over traditional academic education.

The Charity provides the facilities, resources, administration and organisational ability to run an annual agricultural show in Bilsdale, North Yorkshire. The show provides residents and visitors to the dale with activities, demonstrations and advice regarding traditional farming, country skills and environmental issues pertaining to upland rural life in the North Yorkshire Moor National Park.

Jabulani Foundation focuses on the areas of healthcare support, poverty relief through community upliftment, education, and the environment in order to uplift the community in and around Zithulele Village in Mqanduli district, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The foundation runs various projects in those areas, addressing the needs of the community.
