AFCP?s aim is to promote education and science by supporting charities working in agriculture and food production sector to make better use of their funds through collaborations and information exchange, through its website bringing together those seeking funding and charities providing this and in arranging meetings for charities, funders and researchers to share information and ideas.

The object of the Society is to organise concerted action for the improvement, protection and preservation of rural scenery or features of local interest in the town and villages within the Haslemere area.

The W.I. formed in 1915 with two clear aims, to revitalise rural communities and encourage women to produce more food during the 1st world war. Today the W.I. provides women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life including Arts, Crafts and Science to improve and develop conditions of rural life. To advance their education in citizenship in public questions, both national and international in music, drama and other cultural subjects, branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare.

EDUCATE AND INFORM WOMEN IN RURAL AREAS

SSPLU supports the most disadvantaged children from Sure Stars Nursery and Primary School Mityana District Uganda. This is a school for preprimary and primary school pupils from the age 3 to 14 in a very poor rural area. The school is run in a building which is still under construction. SSPLU can support with the development of the school depending on the charity finances and sponsors.

The Lizard Charity manages The Lizard Pastures as a piece of informal, natural countryside for the general benefit and enjoyment of the people of Wymondham.

Lincolnshire Rural Challenge t/a The Serendipity Foundation aims to support people 16 and over in Lincolnshire who are seeking permanent employment. We provide grant funding, workshops, training and access to mental health support.

Providing financial assistance for disabled in rural areas

We operate all over London providing welfare and moral and social support to people from the Atwima District of Ashanti living in the city. In Ghana we help farmers improve their farming methods, working with the experts in the field in Ghana.We hope to organise seminars on financial management for small farmers and traders it the Atwima area in the near future.

Various fund raising activities, mainly on Romney Marsh, including, supper dances, village fetes, quiz nights to raise funds for a village hall for the rural parish of St Mary in the Marsh.

Weekly club meetings and activities both educational and social

We are a youth group that meets regularly to undertake a range of different activities. We attend talks, take part in sports, undertake training, enjoy fun and games, raise money for charity, and compete against other young farmers clubs.

Our Charity is run by young people for young people which include a participative, expressive and empowering programme. Activities include; craft, public speaking, drama, sport, training, community projects and much, much more.
