Ludchurch Village Committee aims to improve our rural village and enhance life for residents. We've transformed Longstone Chapel into a community centre, where we host activities like coffee mornings and men's shed to combat social isolation. Our fundraising events ensure the Community Centre's maintenance and improvement, fostering a supportive and close-knit community.

A member led rural youth group which developes skills and education for any young people aged 10-26 years. Activities range from sports, public speaking, cattle showing and stock Judging, club fundraising events & social activities, dance & entertainment productions, drama and local community work.

The Chagford Singers is a non-audition community choir in Chagford on Dartmoor, open to all. We meet weekly during term time for rehearsing and developing choral skills and prepare for three or more concerts a year, sometimes in collaboration with other musical groups. Our aim is to make singing an enjoyable experience for all and to bring a wide repertoire to our audiences in a rural location.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts crafts and sciences,to improve & develop conditions of rural life. To advance education in citizenship, & other cultural subjects & in agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. Women are given the opportunity to work together to put into practice the ideals of the organisation.

To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:Supporting university and further education scholarships for those unable to access opportunities.To support research and practice in regenerative and sustainable agriculture and food production.

The activities carried out by the association involves supporting health facilities with essential medical equipment and supplies, building science and IT labs to promote the uptake of STEM related subjects in rural Gambia, granting scholarships to the most outstanding students in STEM related subjects in rural Gambia and also providing grants to needy individuals and other community organisations

Raising money to support extra curricular activities such as school trips - experiencing arts, cultural, historical and adventurous events which are not available within our rural community.Purchasing educational equipment which is not provide for by the local LEA such as computers, white boards, projectors and educational literature.

To advance education & training in rural skills and such other matters of educational value as the Trustees determine, particularly in Devon.

Weekly club meetings and activities both educational and social

The Trust only supports projects in Africa which are personally known to the trustees. At present the countries include:- DR Congo, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. It supports the following types of organisations/work:-medical work, agricultural demonstration gardens, self help groups, community based organisations, schools and college fees for students and medical staff

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

The Charity is established to provide support to the educational work of the Warriner School Farm being part of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust, Bloxham Oxfordshire. The Charity aims to raise money to make grants to the farm for specific purposes. It also leases land which it makes available to the Farm. The Farm provides educational service in conservation, agriculture and animal care locally.

Activities include such things as: Stockjudging, numerous visitors of all different areas presenting interactive talks, activities involving livestock, farm walks, and many small fun activities held locally in Hampshire. We also compete in many competitions both within the county and nationally. A meeting takes place everty thursday evening in a venue that suits the activity.

Sport & social activities to enhance the mental & physical advancement of young people

Cheadle Young Farmers is a rural youth organisation for anyone aged between 10 - 28 years. The objects of the Club shall be:-a) to advance the education of young members of the public at large in their knowledge of agriculture, crafts, life skills, rural affairs and country life,b) in the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide and promote the provision of facilities

A range of activities to develop the collection, care and interpretation of agricultural heritage material, including the production of digital resources.

All kinds of competitions, social events, accredited training courses, overseas exchanges and many more activities.

The charity provides & maintains the public hall in the parish of Great Orton (Carlisle). This is the only venue serving a wide rural community and allows many varied local activities to take place from art exhibitions, wedding receptions, play groups, local government meetings, yoga classes etc.

To relieve sickness and the prevention of the same. To protect good health amongst people residing in villages of India and Africa which are not normally served by local authorities.To advance the education in rural communities os hygine and sanitation.To provide clean drinking water where possible.
