Caring Arms is involved helping existing orphanges in rural areas in Nigeria. We help with feeding, clothes, education and other neccessities where possible.Caring Arms also cares for less privileged members of the society including widows. Llawhaden YFC & Community Hall is a village hall in the small rural village of Llawhaden located just off the A40. The hall is available for hire for private functions e.g. funeral teas and parties but also provides a meeting place for many activities in the area. Groups that meet here are Young Farmers (youth activity group), the Womens Institute, the Community Council and Zumba fitness group.

Collect, preserve and display artefacts pertaining to all facets of life in the Clun Forest Area from archaeological finds through to agricultural and manufacturing and products; domestic items, local crafts up to and including the 1950's. Conserve and display Elizabethan Silver Maces and Town Seal of Clun.

PCDP UK promotes holistic development with marginalized communities of rural Sindh, Pakistan, especially focussing on education, health, environment and poverty reduction among the Parkari community. PCDP UK actively partners with Parkari Community Development Programme (PCDP) in Pakistan, which is a registered NGO run by Parkaris themselves (www.parkaricdp.com).

We raise funds to support sustainable development projects in economically disadvantaged communities as a way to improve the conditions of life and achieving economic growth and regeneration. Current focus is introducing the drip irrigation system of agriculture in rural communities in Zimbabwe - sourcing drip irrigation equipment, training farmers on the system and promoting community cohesion.

Promote the Hereford cattle breed and pedigree breeding of the cattle. Organise workshops for new members to enhance their skills in exhibiting at agricultural shows, help and advice for members on the breeding and requirements for beef production etc. Providing sponsorship at agricultural shows with prize money and advertising members herds etc and providing breed information to general public.

Arts and crafts, music and drama, handicrafts, health and social welfare, education improve and develop conditions of rural care. It seeks to give women the opportunity of working together through the Women's Institute Organisation, and of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

Edmundbyers Village Hall provides a venue for social and educational interaction amongst the village community and the wider community as a whole. It is an essential part of the character of the rural community in which we live

CSC was set up with the main objective of relieving persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress as a result of a natural or other disaster or emergency, to promote public safety and to protect the lives and property of residents of Brockham.

TO ENABLE WOMEN TO TAKE AN EFFECTIVE PART IN RURAL LIFE AND DEVELOPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTITUTION & RULES OF THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

We offer support to orphans with tuition fees. Educate and support farmer in increasing their crop yield. Supply clothing to the homeless and encourage social cohesion in less economically developed countries. Currently in Ivory Coast we are helping with organic farming. We also support widows in setting up and running their own businesses.

Activities asked for for by the villagers eg., Annual Village Agricultural Show, Wine Tasting Evenings, Domino Drives, Ladies sewing circle, Fashion Show, Soup lunches and Parish Council meetings 3 times a year.Our hall is available to all groups on request.

Commenting on planning applications and policies; training parish clerks and volunteers to be effective in their responses to planning applications; raising awareness of the countryside and the need to protect it from the adverse affects of development; organising and running the annual Best Kept Village competition.

To improve and develop conditions of rural life and to advance the education of countrywomen in citizenship in public questions both national and international in music drama and other cultural subjects also to secure instruction and training in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare.
