In the last year, 25 rural pastors have been financially supported on a regular basis. Each pastor receives the equivalent of -+-ª14/month. Pastors report back regularly on the activities that they have engaged in to the charity.

Young Farmers Ralli, Eisteddfod, Drama and Pantomimes, 1/2 hour entertainments, Stock judging,Public Speaking, Weekly meetings during winter months for various activities.

Currently raising funds for sanitation improvement, clean water and medicine for community. Also set up creche for children - now operational. Buy second hand clothes and export them for the community. Agricultural activity to alleviate famine. Buy fertilizer for the community - very important this. Will carry out many development projects in future.

The charity provides and maintains a building for the use of the local community. Various fundraising events are held during the year. Social functions are organised for the community so that people may meet and mix with others, a very important part of life in a rural community.

The main purposes of the WI are to enable women who are interested in the issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to advance their education in citizenship, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. It seeks to give to women the opportunity of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.
