Smiles Across Nepal led a group in March to assist Dhulikel Hospitals Community department deliver dental care to rural mountainous regions. We delivered oral health education to school children in order to try and raise the level of oral health at grass roots level. We established firm links with the dental hopsital in Dhulikel and are planning a model for future aid in the region.

The charity raises money from allotment and agricultural land rental income, wayleave and interest from money left by Thomas Sitwell. Money is distributed to local people in financial need or needy local groups.

We collect books, computers, science and sports equipment for needy schools in Africa. In 2025 we will introduce exchange program to allow cross culture between UK and Africa schools. Also we will introduce social tourism to boost income to schools that we assist. Adults who would like to visit rural Africa to help schools will be encouraged to do so. Sidvale Africa Link is a small charity that promotes friendship and cooperation between the people of the Sid Valley in East Devon and the people of the Bolero District in Northern Malawi. Since 1986 this charity has assisted the people of Bolero with various agricultural and educational projects. There have, over the years, been many visits to the area by people from East Devon.

To give disabled people (wheelchair users, visually impaired etc.) chance to get out and enjoy the countryside. To offer multi-media dance, recreation and wildlife projects.

A rural youth movement for young people aged 10-26 years. Members can gain confidence and life skills in public speaking, drama & entertainments, sports competitions, stock-judging and cattle showing/presentation, and dancing. YFC is run by the members who organise meetings & social events.
