Derby Womens Centre provides a range of activities to enchance the well being of women and girls in Derbyshire. We deliver a highly respected counselling service, a series of drop in coffee mornings, alternative therapies, drama therapy, benefit & debt advice; employment & Volunteering advice. We run relaxation and confidence building courses and hold drama therapy classes & provide legal advice.

To advance education and training and to relieve unemployment by such means as the trustees may consider appropriate including (but not limited to) providing apprentice schemes in the automotive industry and providing employment advice and liaising with employers to encourage an increase in the number of apprentice schemes available to young people in the UK.

Fresh Hope has supported an Easter initiative in the Whaddon estate. We are in the final stages of completing a proposal to set up a social enterprise providing employment experience in St. Paul's. We are starting to plan activities for vulnerable families across Cheltenham

The Fat Macy's Foundation is a homelessness charity that provides employment and skills training, 1:1 tailored support, professional mental health support, resettlement guidance, and access to housing deposits for those living in temporary accommodation. We provide an innovative way of facilitating the transition into a stable home and employment for people experiencing homelessness.

Take Off supports people suffering or recovering from mental health problems by organising support groups, encouraging and arranging activities that promote socialisation and rehabilitation, and providing employment.NB: This CIO is essentially the continuation of the charity of the same name (charity no. 1069836) which was formed in 2015. The principal activities of the social enterprise are an artisan bakery, bicycle workshop and light manufacturing. This work provides time limited (usually 3 months) trainee placements for men and women who suffer from mental ill health and forms a part of their recovery and social inclusion. The aim of the enterprise is a move on of trainees to employment or further training.

The main activities of SHOC are to provide: Housing Advice and Tenancy Sustainment; Benefits, Grants and Money Management Support, Health Management Programme, Education and Employment Programme and Home Comforts such as hot meals, bathing and laundry facilities, clothing and toiletries. These services are all provided from our daycentre which is a safe and secure environment.

PAC provides therapeutic interventions for young people aged 6 to 25 presenting with emotional, interpersonal and mental health problems and challenges often with associated learning disability. By delivering this preventative work young people address their problems before they escalate, they re-engage into education or employment and live more positive lives within society.

We provide low cost furniture and domestic appliances to disadvantaged people particularly in the areas of Burnley and Pendle.We provide work experience placements with accredited training for the long term unemployed and volunteers. We help to preserve the environment by reducing the volume of bulky furniture and appliance waste that would otherwise go to landfill.
