1st Blofield and Brundall Sea Scout Group is a Scout Group with Beaver, Cub & Scout sections. The Group is recognised by the Royal Navy. The group has a partnership agreement with Dreadnought Explorer section.Scouting provides skills for life: for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams.

SNM serves and uplifts all people in the spirit of the Sikh principle of 'seva' (self-less service) and 'sarbat da bhalla' (for the benefit of all). We run the Northside Welcome Centre, in Erdington providing Information, Advice and Guidance, Counselling, IT classes, Job Club, one-to-one support for the unemployed or people in need, literacy & numeracy classes, yoga and Sikh religious programmes.

An educational trust that awards grants to individuals to assist with education or training such as books, fees, tools or equipment to help them achieve employment or professional qualification. Applicants must live (and have had 5 years residence) in Chelmsford Borough or former Chelmsford Rural District or have been a student at a school or equivalent in these areas.

The advancement of education and the development of skills for people in the north of England who want to improve their skills and employment through the provision of vocational, numeracy and literacy skills training frameworks and any other charitable causes as may from time to time be determined.

For persons not in full time employment, over 18 years old. To promote the values of lifelong learning. Form interest groups covering a wide range of topics and activities. Learning is for its own sake, with enjoyment being the prime motive, not qualifications or awards. It is a mutual aid organisation.

Community drop-in, offering coffee bar, internet job-search support and signposting to appropriate advice & support services.

The aim of the Centre is to campaign against Unemployment and to seek to improve the circumstances and life chances of Unemployed people within the Tyne and Wear area. Our objectives are to provide Information, Advice and Guidance in furtherance of our aims in particular with respect to supporting claimants who are in contact with the Welfare Benefits Services.

REFOCUS WORKS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFITS BY ADDRESSING THE NEEDS MAINLY OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC ORIGIN IN AND AROUND READING, BERKSHIRE WHO ARE EITHER INVOLVED IN CRIME OR AT RISK OF BECOMING SO. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, LIFE-SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELLING, COACHING, IN-SCHOOL PROJECTS AND HOLIDAY PROVISIONS.

Briar Community Association operates from the Betty Strathern Centre Myrtle Road Harold Hill but also covers the whole of the Harold Hill Estate.

Advice and Guidance services to residents of Rotherham.Specialist advice available in respect of Debt and Benefits and Employment issues - general help is available regarding Consumer Law, Housing, Family Law etc.

Advice and service to the migrant domestic workers.Personal care and attention to senior citizens, sick domestics.Free accommodation to the domestics who are thrown out of job.Service as interpreters.Moral support to the emotionally disturbed and depressed womenSupport ?Justice for the migrant domestic workers? in all their campaign and learning activities.

Education & Activities with retired people. (i.e. no longer in full time employment.)

To promote the Christian faith, organising deliverance services, all-night vigils, special prayers and counselling. To raise the profile of the Charity in the local community included picnics, Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day celebrations. To relief poverty in the areas of training and mentoring of the unemployed.

To provide advice and information on welfare benefits, immigration, housing, education, employment, training, debts, health, finance, nationality, businesspassport and other areas as necessary. Also to provide advocacy for clients.To organise community events such as Independence Day, Eid Celebrations, International Mother Tongue Celebrations.

Our policy is to give grants to students entering further education for up to four years and one off grants for tools and other equipment to those starting apprenticeships or work training on the job. The area we cover is the ancient parishes of Elm, Emneth and Friday Bridge with Coldham. The charity only gives grants up to the age of twenty five.

Providing advice and assistance and organising programmes for children and young people living in the Forest of Dean district as a means of: (a) enabling them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals (b) advancing education (c) relieving unemployment.Encouraging Christian beliefs and values amongst them, their families and the community.

To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Hawkhurst and its surrounding location.

Art-Alive work in the community, with young vulnerable adults to develop their artistic skills, and continue this work when they are released from prison or hostel or left. We provide them with basic skills and art training to support and guide them into productive work either in paid employment or full time education. Majority of the work of art-alive is focused on the youth in the community.
