The charity continues to further the advancement of the Christian gospel in Cambridge and elsewhere. The current sole activity is the making of grants. During 2012/13 the Charity identified an area of support and gave a grant to Holy Trinity, Cambridge to support the employment of student pastoral assistants.

A particular object of the Trust is the provision of financial support for a full-time minister based at Cranford Baptist Church. Robin Asgher commenced employment with the Cranford Support Trust on 6 April 2011. His role is to fulfil all the duties of a pastor in respect of Cranford Baptist Church including preaching, teaching, leadership, pastoral and children?s and young people?s work.

To relieve poverty and assist homeless persons and rough sleepers living in the Humber region and the City of Kingston upon Hull who are in need, in particular but not exclusively by helping assist in the provision of temporary and permanent accommodation, information, advice, employment, education and assistance. Also signposting on issues relating to healthcare, addiction and housing.

Offering assistance to the needy at home and abroad by donating aids in various means especially in disaster areas e.g the Haiti appeal. Members who become needy e.g through loss of employment receive assistance with their bills etc. Assistance is also extended to non-members. The public is always encouraged to attend meetings. We provide comprehensive support to vulnerable individuals, including those facing homelessness, dietary restrictions, unemployment, and mental health challenges. Our approach combines customised nutritional assistance with physical activity programs, recycling initiatives, and career development opportunities. We help marginalised individuals improve both their physical and mental well-being.

We try to meet the spiritual, social, physical and educational needs of the local community through one-to-one and group support.
