Thurrock U3A is a stand alone group providing interests and activities for those (men and women) over 55 and not in full time employment.We encourage people to get together with the aim of learning new hobbies/skills and making friends. We believe that retirement shouldn't mean 'slippers and soaps'.People ofter join Thurrock U3A because they are lonely, once a member they are never alone again.

JEM is a community based organisation which provides a free rolling programme of employability and skills workshops aimed at equipping and preparing individuals, aged 19 years and over living in the Normanton and Arboretum districts of Derby, to enter or re-enter the labour market, voluntary work or further education. Our approach focuses on confidence building and raising self-esteem.

To relieve poverty among refugee families living, or being resettled, in south Warwickshire and Wychavon, by providing support services including, but not limited to: interpreting; translating; advocacy; housing; education; and assistance to access health care and employment; so as to advance them in life and assist them to adapt within a new community.

The Trust will be helping people in disadvantaged areas to set up and sustain their own enterprises by working for themselves, with particular geographic emphasis on Cornwall. The Norda Trust wishes to fund projects that aid people to overcome barriers to self-employment, to foster economic independence, and to collaborate, prosper and expand.

Caffir Ffynnon operates a community cafe run by volunteers. The cafe also provides opportunities for unemployed individuals to increase skills by undertaking work experience within a supportive environment

Raising Youth provides support services to individuals aged 0-19 (and those aged 20-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Mental Health Conditions) living and/or working in Kent and Medway. Our services cover topics such as Mental Health, Growth & Development, Sexual Health, Employment, Advice & Guidance & Signposting.

The charity supports children and families in The Gambia, West Africa. We provide access to education through sponsorship at nursery or school and provide access to medication and healthcare. We provide clothing and food items for children and families in The Gambia alongside supporting family members getting into employment.

Orphan support in terms of clothing, support for their homes with bedding, furniture and renovations. During Ramadhan and Eid have funded foodstuffs for iftar and Eid programs.

The U3A is self funded, self managed organisation to promote educational creative and leisure opportunities for anybody not in full time employment. The aim being that we learn together ad teach each other. Oldham & District U3A was launched in the autumn of 2009 and now has over 670 members and an ever increasing list of interest groups

We are a self-help organisation for people who are retired, semi-retired or no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. To help the people of Rakitovo - an impoverished area of Bulgaria. Projects include setting families up to grow their own food, and providing training to achieve qualifications to enable employment.

Gives money to a list of regular beneficiaries within the Ancient Parish of Abinger in the form of vouchers at Christmas and mid year. We meet weekly, catering for youngsters aged 6 to 18 supporting them with skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

The Help Fund provides support and financial assistance by way of grant and/or loan to all staff currently employed by Kent County Council when they find themselves in financial difficulties, also retired employees of Kent County Council and former employees of Kent County Council who are unemployed.
