Our activities are very much community based. A small fishing village, with an industrial history of ironstone mining, and steel works, only a small specialised part of the steelworks remaining (steel brought in by road/rail, from Teesside). High number of unemployed/retired in an area of social deprivation. A good and tight knit community, the village hall provides for the needs of the community

Our areas of support are for looked after children and young people who volunteer to be engaged with us, helping them to realise their potential and to find a positive destination when they leave care:1. 1:1 Tuition2. Make grants to young people to help with expenses of further education and to improve chances of future employment.

International Christian Gospel Ministries(ICGM) preaches the Gospel in the UK and Uganda. ICGM plants churches, disciples new believers, encourages and builds people, prays for the sick, relieves the poor through training in practical technical skills for job creation and employment ICGM is a charity and a limited company, that relies on donations and grants to finance its activities.

We regularly collect excess food from two supermarkets and distribute to needy people in the community in BuckinghamshireWe donate food and presents to underprivileged at ChristmasWe continue to train Trustees and consult with training and funding providers moving towards offering qualifications to aid employment prospects.We provide opportunity for worship and Bible Study

The Island Initiative directs its efforts at conserving the marine environment and helping remote island communities to develop new sustainable employment opportunities - fly fishing guiding, fly tying, hotel services, jewellery making. Training and education in conservation of fish stocks underpins this, particularly engaging children and young people.

The main activities of JSJS this year have centred around mainly on (a) Advice and guidance on employment, education, career, training and social issues (b) cultural activities such as discussion of Bengali prose and poetry and drama (d) practical support on CV preparation, availing job-adverts to clients, helping prepare for job interviews, (e) sign positing clients to other services.

For the benefit of primarily men 18 plus in the Winterton area, including the retired, unemployed or those with health problems, facilities for hobbies, recreation & other leisure time occupations including practical interests, skills sharing, learning new skills and helping with community based projects

IWUFT aims to: a) encourage and enable older people no longer in full-time paid employment to help each other to share their knowledge, skills, interests and experience. b) demonstrate the benefits and enjoyment to be gained and the new horizons to be discovered in learning throughout life. c) celebrate the capabilities and potential of older people and their value to society.

EYAI support young adults between 18 to 25 build their confidence and independence, through mentoring and where possible through work experience working closely with the employer. Opened a community cafe to support those not able to work in the community yet with confidence and independence building in September '23. EYAI work with young adults in South Bucks and South Oxfordshire.

Helping unemployed people in the most deprived areas of Nottingham. Providing professional appropriate work wear, training and support to raise employment prospects and contribute in a practical way to reducing worklessness in disadvantaged communities. Dramatically increasing confidence of those who struggle to believe in themselves and so find it difficult to sell themselves to an employer.

Welfare, benefits and employment rights advice including advice to those at risk of unemployment. Supporting unemployed people access services and encouraging self-help. Providing access to online employment services. Operating in East Norfolk that encompasses places such as Acle, Loddon and Stalham.

(1) the provision of support, information, practical advice, education, social activities and opportunities for work experience;(2) raising awareness of Down Syndrome and providing education and training in the specific needs and abilities of people with Down Syndrome for their parents/carers and the professionals involved in their care, employment and education.

We give small grants to school leavers towards their further education or employment.

Boundary Community School provides Study Support and Mother Tongue Language classes, Youth Activities, ICT training, Employment Support, Advice and Guidance for the local community.

Teesside Airport Foundation is a fundraising charity which exists to support the people of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees to achieve their ambitions in education and employment and to assist in the regeneration of the area

The European Opera Centre launched in 1997 maintains two broad aims: to help people of high potential move from education to employment in opera; and to develop audiences for opera. Carefully designed projects provide opportunities to singers, repetiteurs and others. Activities include full productions, productions in concert, concerts and recitals, recordings, masterclasses and work in schools.

Provide Training Courses - ICT Training Skills Employment Support, Health Training and Job Search Support Services access to community facilities. Organize cultural events, do research and publication and recreational activities for the community.
