Makes charitable donations to the following categories of local people: the elderly in need; those in poor health; those who are unemployed; 6th Form, College or University students; and parents/guardians of children needing help with the cost of school books or uniforms.

The charity has a disposable income of approximately -ú500 annually, which is available to make grants at Christmas to village residents. These charities were originally created to relieve the worst extremes of poverty by providing coal, bread, clothing or cash grants. Payments will not be made to anyone in full-time education or to anyone in full-time employment.
